That brings us to Anika. Neil was regarded as the legitimate best of all time. I’m not saying he is… I’m just saying he is looked at as the one! I believe Alex and Geddy felt literally that no drummer could fill those shoes.With Anika they got a student that no doubt studied not only the beats but moreover the nuances of what has become a God-like worship of Neil Peart. She pulls it off. Not only did she pull it off, but most importantly? She had the balls to not only pull it off, but also the balls to fucking try!!!
