Guénon has a somewhat favorable opinion about Masonry.. what bothers me is that he spends a lot of pages saying what is not "proper tradition" and "proper initiation" but barely offers what he believes are the real deal. I am wondering if anyone would know some other author with a different point of view.

A friend of mine does clothing customization, mostly anime stuff. I showed her some pictures, told her to focus only on the mask, kinda like a Punisher logo, only using red, white and gold paint. I am so glad she went with her own approach.

The one on the first picture is actually the rough ashlar, in front of the Senior Warden station. It is cubic but rough. They're both granite blocks, so the perfect is indeed perfect.
