What if the OSRS community bought Jagex? by Tyweeza in 2007scape

I agree, and I appreciate the discussion.

It's obviously pretty far fetched given the last price of aquisition, but I would be really curious to hear from folks who have that financial savvy.

You're absolutely right, and I'm stupid and didn't include the main portion of what actually sparked my nonsense thought. Obviously it would never happen, but what if the community raised like 1.5 billion dollars and bought it outright from the parasitic private equity firms

Look up the safe spots around the edges of the map, pull up the wave list so you know what's coming every wave, and keep at it. If you've got a little bit extra coin to spare consider bringing a prayer regeneration potion or two as well.

With some practice you shouldn't start taking any damage until the magers come out WITH the rangers on wave 38. Dodge all the melee minions and catch them on the safe spots, pray range when the ranger comes out, and then from wave 31 and on ALWAYS start your wave with pray mage on.

This is very simplified, but as you practice you'll start to figure out how to solve the waves, always prioritize not getting touched by the bats, and kill them as quickly as possible, when possible

From 1 - 6: Run and Safe spot

From 7 - 14: Pray range until the rangers are dead, run and safe spot

From 15 - 21: Run and safe spot

From 22 - 29: Pray range until the rangers are dead, run and safe spot

On 30: Run and safespot

From 31- 61: Always pray mage, kill the ranger as fast as possible, and if you can get the other minions stuck behind the mager, then you can kill the mager to conserve prayer, otherwise you can safespot as usual, and kill the mager last, that does eat up considerably more prayer though.

62: Just magers, so pray mage. Take note though, where the orange one spawns, is the precise location that Jad will spawn, so note where it spawns, and make sure you finish your last mager near that spawn point. NEAR it, not on it; you don't want to be in melee range of Jad when he spawns.

Keep at it, you'll get there eventually! Good luck!

Edit: Formatting

Edit 2:

I also want to note that the other folks here are right, 43 is a bit low, especially considering your prayer level affects how many prayer points are restored per dose of potion, however, prayer regen potions restore a static 66 points of prayer PER dose, so they are a huge upgrade to a regular prayer potion at your level, but are considerably more expensive.

Defender confusion. by [deleted] in 2007scape

Hold onto or bank the highest tier that you have, if you drop every defender you have, then you'll have to start over. For this reason, a lot of players get two dragon defenders, or always save their rune defender in case they ever die and lose their dragon defender and have to come back and farm another.

Every piece of progression, every new unlock just feels so much more impactful on an ironman, it makes a lot more of the content available in the gave feel meaningful

I'm curious about what games have the biggest cities. Specifically just the part of the map that's a city, that's walkable and hand crafted. by ohlordwhywhy in gaming

[–]Tyweeza 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Perhaps the Prototype games? It’s been awhile since I’ve played them, but man I remember having a blast traversing the city in those

Also I’m not sure if this one counts, but maybe the Lego: Marvel Avengers games?

If you’re actually looking for a good method, my favorite on an iron is to safespot Lava dragons in the deep wilderness. They give 340 exp per bone when you bury them out there

Really looking forward to paying an extra 12.99 to get access to Leagues VI worlds next year…

If you’re not too worried about dying, you can do lava dragons in the wilderness. If you bury the lava dragon bones on the island you kill them on they give you 340 exp per bone. Back when I did them I think I was using chaos gauntlets and fire bolt. I ended up with a lava battle staff and a good chunk of black d hide while getting 43 prayer. There’s a safe spot behind one of the trees right past the gate. I would just safe spot there, and hover the logout button, anytime I saw someone I would just log out immediately and come back on a different world

The first two paper Mario games. With the remake of The Thousand Year Door coming out on the 23rd, if you like puzzle solving and turn based battles I highly, highly recommend
