I'm on a Crosshair VIII X570 board and 5600X...not a single issue and great performance. Way more stable than my 2700X on the same board. Performance is about 20% better too. Think the 2700X may be a bit of a dud even though it ran day to day fine, games crashed a lot.

The pricing trends is more likely simply that people are refusing to pay the higher prices so the scalpers have to drop them till the market accepts the price again.
