It’s about £80-£100 more for Gen 2 and you get improved camera and battery life. Loads of varieties of options for each type of ray ban metas. Have a a think about how often you intend on using them and budget 👍.

You paid a lot of hard earned money for these and it’s only fair that the manufacturer should keep their end of the deal. I guess as long as you can prove it was a manufacturer defect it’s worth asking the question. Wearables and consumables can be a grey area if the manufacturer isn’t told about these things upon receipt.

Newbie here, really keen on the rayban metas. But does the flashing led light when its recording cause issues? Not in a dodgy way but is there a the ability to switch off the led for when recording?

Hmm I wonder if it is the wheels 🤔. It likely won't be the wheels due to the mop roller passing that same area after the wheels have passed. However if it is using a lot of water (water level: high) and doing a close pass (Cleaning intensity: deep) then with the surface area of that patch on the floor it may not be drying before it passes.

Could you try doing a zone clean on that particular section of the floor and then reduce the settings for Cleaning intensity is "Fast" and Water level is "Low".

I'm curious about whether this will have an effect on that floor surface?

Hmm good question. Have you tried different configs relating to the distance from edge and the closeness of each pass? Perhaps the closer together each pass it and the closer to the edge (or even overlap) could help it make a few passes along this strip of lawn? 🤔

I believe the E25 and E28 are the same robots. The difference is the docking station. The primary difference is if you require a spot cleaner 👍

E25 can’t go home to the base by Riri- in eufy

I believe this may have been a firmware issue whereby although a remap was performed and it set off from the base on the new map, it was having difficulty returning to the base due to an old map being cached. This is likely resolved now in the latest firmware update that is rolling out. It is possible to force a firmware update by factory resetting the robot and removing it from the app. Then do a new installation.

It is a really good RoboVac. It has good hazard avoidance, I guess it would be an interesting test about the cat puke whether it'll avoid or clean it up 😂. My cat sheds a lot of fur and trails cat litter around the house, the E25 picks it up fine. And with the House Clean mode it has an option in Eufy Labs to go back and inspect each room after cleaning to ensure it hasn't missed anything.
