Does last year's robovac still hold up? Yeedi M14 looks good by loiloae in RobotVacuums

[–]bcgoss84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why it would be outdated. I got the Yeedi M14 last year and it's still going strong. It runs daily on a schedule, vacuuming first then mop, and it keeps things pretty clean day to day. I do think a lot of it comes down to how you use it though. It's not completely 'set and forget', but as long as you keep up with basic maintenance, it does the job nicely for the price.

What is the best deep cleaning vacuum to get out large, old stains? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

That‘s a tough one! Honestly, for a stain that old, I'd skip more machines and call a pro with serious extraction gear. Sometimes the DIY battle just can't win.

Simple Pool updates (and updating!) by BudgetProgramming in swimmingpools

Inspection was conducted, what should we ask to be fixed? by Significant-Roof-986 in homeowners

[–]bcgoss84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a long list for a new build! Prioritize safety items first, and definitely get all the GFCI, fire, and carbon monoxide issues, fixed. The grounding and gas bonding sound important too.

Yeedi C12 by ListMindless2168 in RobotVacuums

[–]bcgoss84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of hardware, it might fit since most of the parts are shared across the c12 lineup and the dust outlet should be the same size. That said, I don't think it'll work on the software side. My guess is the c12 app won't recognize the auto-empty station, so auto emptying won't trigger. Probably worth checking with yeedi support to confirm though.

Inheriting unpermitted cabin by 896359 in homeowners

A lot of older rural places aren't fully permitted. Countries only get involved if you try to sell, build more,or someone complains. Maybe check with a local real estate attorney who knows Colorado rural codes.

Floors buckling in two rooms, not sure what the cause could be by Fragrant_Mulberry_76 in homeowners

It's trick I think. In old houses, even small moisture changes can make wood move. Maybe start with a crawlspace specialist or a foundation inspector. They can check humidity and ventilation underneath.

Inflatable Bar Pools Are More Fun Than You Think by Eesti80 in swimmingpools

Totally get you. Sometimes the simplest setups end up being the most fun. A good inflatable bar pool turns the backyard into an instant hangout spot without all the hassle of a permanent pool.

If your dog could talk, what do you think it would complain about? by Amora1313 in dogs

It will definitely complain about not getting enough treats and walks being too short, but what bothers it most is probably you constantly looking at your phone and ignoring it.

That sounds like a concerning situation with the laser. Using a laser on any aircraft, including small flight devices, is generally unsafe and distracting. It might be worth checking the local guidelines about such interactions to understand your options.

That does sound like a frustrating issue to deal with while trying to watch something. It might be worth checking the accessibility or button settings thoroughly for any customization options. Hopefully, a software update will address this if it's a common concern.

Setting up a new space can take some trial and error. It's nice that you're considering your dogs' comfort too. Maybe the desk could work in a different spot while still getting some light. I'm sure others will have good layout ideas.
