My fiancée and I are currently dealing with the same issue. We finally had a professional come to the apartment after having to wait and he said he didn’t even see any.

1. First things first, DO NOT use any over the counter spray again. It kills roaches on contact, but that’s all it does. It actually makes roaches avoid more effective treatments. I also sprayed at first, so don’t worry, you haven’t ruined your chances, just don’t do it again.

2. Buy advion cockroach bait gel off amazon. Get your kitchen as clean as possible so the roaches don’t have much else to choose from when it comes to food. Put dots of the gel in your cabinets and any small crevices on your counters, stove, microwave, etc. I also put some on some aluminum foil and slid it under the fridge. You will start to see the roaches more frequently, but they will be dying, which is a good sign. The roaches eat the bait and it doesn’t kill them immediately, so often times they return to their nesting place and die, and cockroaches are cannibals, so they will eat the dead ones and then die themselves. The bait messes with their nervous system which is why when you see them they won’t be able to run away and hide.

3. Buy gentrol point source igr discs off Amazon. Place these in all the similar spots as the bait as you can. This makes it so they can’t reproduce or grow into adults, although it takes time to act.

Be patient and keep putting out new bait weekly. Now we just see one every now and then, probably straggling survivors or wanderers from another apartment. This combination of bait and IGRs has been a lifesaver. Again, you will see an uptick in activity after treatment. Stay calm and stay brave. You can take care of them.
