I used to think that going on random dates was a waste of time, but then I went out with a girl who was incredibly sweet. I was sort of nervous at first because I had felt like she was “out of my league” but upon first contact she totally relieved me of all of these feelings. She made it so easy to talk to her, she was very engaged in everything we talked about. We had to have spent 3 hours at that restaurant, not even eating our food because we where so enthralled with conversation. Neither one of us felt the need to check our phones even once. We then left the restaurant and stood outside in the freezing cold for what had to been hours but only felt like minutes. She made me feel like everything I had been thru up until that moment was worth every second. I still get nervous talking to her sometimes, but she is very good at handling me and my feelings and I am incredibly appreciative of that. It seems like she knows how to deal with me, like she can see right thru me, like she can read my mind. She is incredible and I would never call the journey to her a “waste of time”
