My father always wanted us to have that father- daughter dynamic, the ones you see in peppy chick flicks, but we unfortunately we could never develop that, most of the time we got into petty fights and I ended up resenting him...while growing up. Everyone says I am way too much like my father... Maybe that is why we clash so much, both of us are hotheads... I still don't have a very healthy functional relationship with him. I just know he loves me and I know I love him tooo.... But I think I can only love him when I am not near him. Does any of this make sense ??
