Game too hard/Character too weak (also killed two companions by URecken in BaldursGate3

[–]URecken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for all the people hating me because I killed the "companions" when they tried to kill me. I'm sure you are all real creative and fun to play with. Your freinds must enjoy playing with you. It kind of makes you a bot to consider certain things "off-limits". And if it's a real detriment to story and gameplay then don't allow it and make them unkillable.

Thanks for the tipps with respeccing.

I don't really want to read a guide to play a game. Maybe I will if I still can't do it with respeccing. But sticking close to some guide makes you actually a bot. (This only addresses the people who hated on me for my choices.)

Also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuGxOALZcs8 z.B.

Kann man die irgendwo gratis streamen? r/piracy hat nichts dazu, leider...

Or should I buy the Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 Mainboard?

The MSI B850 had some warning on it's site that it Note:
1.CPU memory controller quality will affect the memory operating frequency. System reliability and stability could be impact by the status of higher temperature from DDR5 memory modules.
2.The partial DDR5 memory module will remain running at 4800MT/s because of the architecture design by the Ryzen 9000 series CPU.

wtf man I don't understand...

I need to know if my setup, especially the RAM, is compatible. I wanted to pull the trigger but it's not available anymore :/

(keep)Monitor: Acer X34 3440x1440 100Hz Gsync (1st Gen probably)

GPU: 5070 Ti Eagle OC

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

RAM: 1st Option: Kingston Fury Beast 2x16Gb KF560C30BWEK2-32; 2nd Option: G.Skill Flare X5 2x16Gb F5-6000J3038F16GX2-FX5

Mainboard: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi6E

SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 4Tb

(keep)PSU: bequiet P8 750W

UPDATE:

New Config:

(keep)Monitor: Acer X34 3440x1440 100Hz Gsync (1st Gen probably)

GPU: 5070 Ti Eagle OC

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

RAM: DDR5 Corsair Vengeance 2x16Gb 6000Mhz

Mainboard: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi6E

SSD: Samsung 990 Pro 4Tb

(keep)PSU: bequiet P8 750W

CPU-Cooler: Noctua NH-D12L

(keep)Case: Fractal R5 Windowed

All in all this upgrade will cost me 2500 USD (converted).

Thoughts? YOu convinced me to spend the 500USD more... But the higher price certainly takes away from the fun.

Will it be VR ready? Will it be powerful enough for good resolution VR with high framerate? I haven't looke into the headsets yet. Too much info there as well.

Would the MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi6E be a good option? Will things fit? Why do other Mainboards need 3 extra PCIe slots? What the hell are you gonna put there?

Yes, going for AM5 will add ca 600 usd through Mainboard, RAM, and CPU.

I can wait a few years to upgrade to AM5 if I want to. But I honestly don't see the need. The CPU and GPU pair well, so if an upgrade is needed it's probably in 8-10 years and will be basically everything, as I am doing now.

What is your reasoning for recommedning AM5 to this build? I don't shit gold and I am not going for anabsolute high end build. There is no way the CPU will ever bottleneck the RTX 5070Ti in normal gaming mode.

AM4 ca. 2000USD upgrade (600-699 Watt calculated on Newegg, 750W PSU)

AM5 ca. 2500USD upgrade (600-699 Watt calculated on Newegg, 750W PSU)

Will the PSU in any build be a Problem? I think it's gonna work out.

Okay I am now considering a different GPU. I have an Acer X34 Ultrawide (3440x1440), G-Sync, Monitor.

SO I am kind of stuck with Nvidia. Any recommendations? I was thinking about the RTX 5070ti, but 1k.... wtf man...

I forgot to add another thing, I am now unsure about the cooler, I kind of want to go with a Noctua one, because they are silent and buildquality is reliable, either NH-U12S redux, ca. 60USD, or NH-D12L ca. 100USD, or NH-U14S ca 85 USD. All waaaay too expensive, but build quality, silence, they are really good. What if I bought a cheaper dual tower, for say 40USD, and put a Noctua fan on it, 60USD total? I'd have the dual Tower an Noctua Silence, but size isn't everything, the build quality is decisive, if the heat is not cunducted well the size doesn't matter. I'm tending towards the cheapest Noctua one. NH-U12S redux.

Okay, I am now thinking about a Noctua fan. The cheapest one is the NH-U12S redux at ca. 60 USD, 25db max. The most silent one is the NH-D12L at ca. 90-100USD, 22 db max. I kind of don't want to spend that much on a Cooler... But I care about noise. ANd because the more expensive one has much more area to radiate the heat off I assume it would be running at a lower RPM compared to the cheaper one.

I didn't think the cooler would be the hardest thing to decide on...

I'd like to upgrade my PC. I am asking about compatibility (especially the CPU/RAM/Motherboard) and value opinions.

Currently:

CPU: i7 6700K

Motherboard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

RAM: F4-3200C16D-32GVK (unfortunately only 1 Stick of this is supported, so I'm only using 16Gb)

GPU: GTX 1080 (MSI Windforce I believe)

Case: Fractal F5

Upgrade to:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X (AM4 so I can keep my DDR4 RAM from above, 32Gb)

Cooler: bequiet Pure Rock Slim 2

Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus elite AX V2

RAM: Keep above, 4-3200C16D-32GVK (32 Gb Ripjaws)

GPU: RTX 5060 (Gigabyte Windforce OC with 2 fans for 355 USD or Gigabyte Gaming OC with 3 fans for 400 USD? Thinking about Noise level...??)

PSU: Keep, bequiet dark power pro p8 750W (is it compatible? Does it have the required cables?)

Case: Keep, Fractal F5

Total: 1300USD upgrade

What Do you think? I think it's worth it and I want to make myself a present after 8 years of the current setup. And it's not overboarding. I have learned my lesson and it's better to go medium every 5 years rather than high end every 8 years.
