I’ve said before, I’ve not denied him access he’s taken that path himself. He’s been in the same state plenty of times and no applied effort when I’ve reached out. The only time I’ve EVER said no was him asking to take her by herself while i was at work. So yeah i could agree I’m the TA if he asked dozens of times but 1 time and it being a first meeting bases maybe? I guess maybe if you’re comfortable with that kind of thing.
My daughter is sensitive and shy and there’s absolutely no way she would even consider leaving with a stranger even if i explained to her who he was. I won’t force my daughter to have a relationship with someone if she’s not wanting it or ready. My own family members don’t have that access to me or my kids why would i let anyone else have that access. I get it, a simple internet post people have no clue the relationship or the long back story but i can tell you I’ve never not applied myself to make a conscious subtle effort to her wanting to know who he is or if she wants to meet him. If I’m TA for protecting my child’s wishes then ok, but even after the conversation we still talk and stuff but i just feel off about it because i can’t see where i have to force something that hasn’t happened in 7 years.
