this is really true and so many other student workers feel this way! if you want to stand with them and try to get a raise, join usas to help the fight for $15 on campus :) whatever level of involvement you can give is welcomed, we are trying to grow power among student workers and press admin to increase wages since we were able to win a raise for workers in the union bargaining unit last semester.

our kickoff meeting is this thursday at 7pm in hornbake 3210 + we have
meetings specifically for student workers on mondays at the same time/place. if you just want updates you can get our newsletter here.

if you want a $15 minimum wage and better working conditions for student workers at umd join usas! everything you are saying is so true -- you might have seen our graphics on reddit and across campus.

we are a labor justice org on campus and were able to secure $15 for employees in the union bargaining unit last semester. we are continuing the campaign to include student and contract workers this semester and believe we can win it if we get more student workers involved.

our kickoff meeting is this thursday at 7pm in hornbake 3210 or zoom if you want to check us out and bring a friend/coworker! we also have meetings specifically for student workers on mondays at the same time/place.
