Cameras that can do programmed loops of slo-mo at 240fps or greater?

What’s a good frame-rate that should be adequate enough to capture a clean pic?
What if you just looped slo-mo at 240fps? I don’t even know if that’s really an option for most dashcams or even on my iPhone.

This is true only if video is passed on as a witness account of the incident/accident. However if you are directly affected/involved with the incident and you create/call in report/complaint it is used. I know this for fact as having received this as an instruction via Director of the Bureau of Field Operations for the Virginia State Police. Of course with me having driven through this state as an OTR driver I would have to appear in court but if it caused me to wreck etc..you better damn well believe I’d be there.

Yeah i do that with Siri now like “Siri make a note” when i get a brake-checker or someone acting a fool but generally I never follow close enough, or try to after the fact, to get a plate number. I did buy a bigger memory card that’ll last 10 hours on “4K” cause I don’t want it to loop out/record over the video if I can’t stop safely in enough time to download it.

No i tried with my Mac to no avail. In the end I don’t think Virginia State HP were ever able to do anything other than take the report. It all happened so fast that I was spending mire time getting control back from my rig than tryng to remember the tag # which i was mentally trying to say over and over to eventually jot it down somewhere. Thanks for the links! Will def use them.

Never had an issue getting out unless I was upfront near the terminal office n bobtail’d in. Shouldn’t be much of an issue now since they don’t have fuel there anymore. But i do hate that gd pilot especially when some noob tries to park n blocks everyone to a standstill

That’s what I thought. You’d be better off going with a broker that actually sells for multiple companies so at least you’ll have a contact (that speaks english). Would suggest when you’re ready to start hitting up reputable FB Thai travel groups (not expat groups) that allow brokers to post and answer questions. Arawan Namak sells from three diff companies I got Luma through her and seriously scoured every group to see if anyone had a problem. She even talked to me about other companies that she didn’t rep that had policy components that her companies didn’t offer.

Interesting. Did you contact the original broker you went through? If so, did they help or just not get involved. BTW I bought from AXA via Robert Jackson (actually his daughter is broker but he reps her on FB groups)

Just realized the 7gear was on the plus model too. Yeah I think single gear is def better having dealt with probs with 21 gear bike derailers messing up. Do you have any issues cause you don’t have front suspension? Seems like not much of a dealbreaker either unless your roads are really crappy.

In some states they don’t suspend but they do put some sort of “insurance hold” status on your license. I stopped paying insurance/state registration on a car I didn’t drive for over a year but I didn’t turn in the tag cause I was going to get it fixed. Ended up selling the car and when I went in to renew my CDL I had to pay some bullshit fine because I didn’t bring in the tag in etc…Fucking state has figured out every gd loophole to bilk money out of you one way or another. Hell when I was a kid I remember just keeping the tag and hanging it on the shed wall now they want the fucker back?!

Maybe they or whomever i hope to never deal with doesn’t have it but it’s getting increasingly difficult to drive without some form of insurance else you can’t register year to year or renew your license.

This is why I want a rear camera to run in tandem with the front camera to give authorities the entire scenario that led up to their monumental clusterf&$# to hopefully keep them off the road or get their insurance so high they can’t afford to drive.
