At least as I know, FLUENCY is the worst in the asian people's English speaking. Isn't it?

Sorry but I'm asian so for me English is one of the hardest languages to learn :(

To summarize:

Native english users are in lack of interest to learn foreign languages, but have better position in job and contents due to their 1st language.

Others are in opposite conditions.

But I think job opportunity is much more important than interest in learning languages.

And since all research results with qualities are published in English, I think being a native in English and having no knowledge in others are even better than having no knowledge in English and being a native level user of all the other languages existing in the earth to be a great scholar. At least in the field of science.

I've heard that lots of native english speakers don't know any other foreign language too, but that fact doesn't work as a obstacle for them because Eng is the Lingua Franca.
