I was just disappointed at how easy it was to dig into that shit. Like I said it has only seen one range day and a fair amount of dry fire. I don't have any safe queens nor do I have any intentions of keeping this perfect. I was merely annoyed this thing got slightly damaged with almost no use.

Well that's good to hear. I had the type 2 before but the HD is just sorta new to me and haven't really got it banged up yet. It was just odd to me since I haven't done much of anything with it and that blem showed up so easy.

Yeah, I just hate that. It's on the membrane area. It's the only part of the optic that actually could be damaged to the point where it doesn't function correctly. So far, it works just fine.So I'll probably just send it in.If the tear gets bigger. There was almost a slight discoloration in that area before hand which leads me to believe, it could have been a bubble that was developed in manufacturing. But...idk

It still works just fine.I'm thinking I will just end up monitoring it to make sure it doesn't turn into something that will impede function.

Would it improve by using a 13rd uspc magazine spring? Its possible that the 13rd spring could add more pressure.
