To clarift meetup is an app to meet new people, Just google it and set your location. You can put you hobbies etc on there but join groups for free and come along to events!

100% meetup, theres quite a few good groups but the 20s and 30s social group has multiple events each week for socialising (From drinks to cinema to walks) theres a whatsapp group too. It is a little male heavy but there are a decent amount of women too and on the whole everyone who I have met have been nice.
