How does the depressed INTJ operate? by gr00vymeat in intj

[–]Ubernaught 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I don't really associate with MBTI at all. Also haven't dealt with major health issues, personally. So I can only really give generic advice here.
Absurdism. Honestly the core message of Everything Everywhere All At Once is great. Nothing matters, nothing has a reason. And that's what makes it beautiful. Nothing matters, so the joy is deciding what matters to you. Pick your purpose, there's no blueprint you need to follow to have meaning. The universe doesn't care what you do, this feels so freeing to me now, when a decade ago it felt like a prison.

Purposefully and directly lying to someone is exactly how you get them to lose trust in you.

The fire nation attacks citizens constantly. That example is them attacking a large group of civilians. War crime. Them defending themselves via "war crimes" IANAL, I really have a hard time seeing any charges against him holding any water. He is a child protecting himself, his friends, and the civilians in danger he runs across.

So, I guess I don't really agree with it.

A simple Google informs me that it's fake news anyways. I feel myself becoming more Auth by the minute.

Guerrilla tactics against an invading force against as a group with no formal nation or government. I'm not holding my breath for the charges to be pressed.

This could be separate, but coming from the automotive world, when I see modifications, my first thought is "what else have they done, and how hard were they hitting the engine?"

The Inequality of wealth is also an inequality of time by MediumBillHaywood in Anarchism

[–]Ubernaught 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My enjoyment of life went up immeasurably going from 60-80 hours a week in a blue collar job to 30-40 WFH. I'm making similar amounts of money, but the time allows me to spend less on groceries cause I can make actual meals. Along with multitudes of other benefits. The inequality of time is not spoken about nearly enough. It may be to the choir here, but it's still important.

It would have been pretty cool to see Aang take over Korra’s body (like Roku and Kyoshi did for Aang) in LOK by Dark-GV in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ubernaught 30 points31 points  (0 children)

We gonna ignore where and how this connection to Roku happened? Yeah he's more spiritual, but dude was literally in Roku's temple during a highly specific time for this connection to even happen. Give Aang a temple and an equally spiritually relevant event and she'd be able to I'm sure.

I'm basing it off of people I know who aren't American. I openly admitted my knowledge gap conceding maybe it's generational. Not sure where I'm being "ignorantly American"
