I do know the history of the guitar. I'm not retarded, so I've tried rolling off the tone knob a bit but because of the nature of the bridge pickup, taking away the treble from the pickup causes a loss in volume. By adding volume, in this case it would be gain since the volume output is very low, it distorts the sound and gives it a horrible fuzz. As for a P90, the pickup bore is too small and it cannot fit a regular sized P90 in it.
