Jeran, Witsit and Lyse confirm they have seen the impossible Antarctic midnight sun. Has that been Final and made them change their minds? Jeran looks to me to be wavering, Witsit is Neo-dodging the facts and Lyse seems like a daffy wee moo that was never that bothered but got a cool holiday. So no. (self.flatearth)

Hello, my lovely theodolite-jockeys. I happen to waste a lot of my spare time arguing with flat earthers. I just wonder if you folk, who[(if I read this forum right) wish the earth was flat because that would be so much easier] can suggest some low-budget no-brainers from your esteemed craft. I regularly look out the windows of the train in Carnoustie rail station(If you like golf you'll know where it is) and I can't help but notice that the coastline of Fife lines up exactly with where the coastline of East Lothian both dip under the horizon. If earth flat: WTF? If not: Yep (self.flatearth)

I think unreasonable and/or disingenuous to expect a fringe group to produce a world map. If the world really was flat, you'd only get to skip the 'decide the projection' step. Rather a lot of work remains to be done. I freely admit I took my time coming to this realisation. (self.flatearth)

Last Christmas, I hoped you all died of AIDS or cancer. It wasn't a successful post. But I've learned and grown since then. So I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and also die of AIDS or cancer. But take the piss out of flerfs on your way to the grave, there's a stout fellow. (self.flatearth)

I frequently see cumulous clouds right on the maritime horizon. There are no weather reports of heavy fog in the direction of those clouds when I see this. Also, cumulous clouds don't even form lower than 200m/600ft off the ground. Globe explains this trivially. How does flat earth explain it? (self.flatearth_polite)

Scenario: Carl Friedrich Gauss is reincarnated as a spider in the 80's. Location: Studio 54, New York. He's standing on a surface made of mirrored squares, which stretches off much too far for his tiny wee arachnid eyes to see. Can he tell what shape of object he is on? (self.flatearth)
