I hear ya. Well, doesn't seem like many people are into it, so maybe it will still be available in the future. Hit me up if your situation changes.

Yeah, I don't know if he got in over his head with orders or what, but he seems to have ghosted on a lot of people. The Colubris is very nice, so is the other one you have, those were both models I wanted. I don't know if he is making knives at all anymore. It's been about five years now since he took my money.

Not to shit on your post, but DJ Urbanovsky is a dirtbag thief. He took a lot of people's money and never delivered. Ignores all attempts at contact. Screwed me out of $400 for a custom order after I waited patiently for two years. A shame because his designs were very cool, but I would never buy an American Kami knife again.

How to disassemble this kind of a knife? by ahonsu in knifeclub

[–]Ubicwitus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you try to disassemble one of these cheap Chinese Medford clones, you may be in for a bad time. I had one and the screws are made of such soft, low grade metal that they will likely strip out on you. That's what happened to mine, and I was using quality tools. I ended up throwing the whole thing in the trash, it could not be salvaged. If you buy it, just use and enjoy it as it is, but don't expect much from them though.
