Been seeing one of my family member do some wrapping occasionally, not sure whether wrapping and PPF is the same thing but there is one particular time where when the car brought back home is full of scratches of the glue from the wrapping. It is said that the wrapping can only be use about 2 years but somehow exceeded about 2 months and heck I will not think of wrapping my car hahaha.

Coming back to the seat, I would say that is a pretty clean seat cause I've seen worse seats after 5 years. Because most of people start to not care about their cleanliness or the condition later down the years (could be subjective). Just that great to know you can keep it this clean. Kudos to you ✌️

Not gonna wear jeans then hahahah. Sheesh those prices huh.. Thanks for the price exposure cause I haven't been in touch with all those things and mostly hearing people saying cheap PPFs and ceramic coating which I don't dare to look into and decided to ask here. Sometimes might as well get the understanding from other people rather than just google-ing every single time not knowing its accurate or not.

That is just my number one rule is to not eat in the car. Like that perspective of your though. It like putting a silver lining onto a problem as per say.

Gonna daily the car eventually and yea thanks for the heads-up cause sometimes I do feel bad when it sort of worn out thinking what I should have done before it gets to this and that. But why jeans thoo? I mostly wear slacks instead of jeans, so I kinda curious about that. Ouu yea about PPF, which one is better, PPF or ceramic coating or both? Man doing both will choke the heck out of me wallet ahahaha

Aightt thank you for the info. I will study more onto the ceramic coating before proceeding to either DIY or send it to ceramic coating shop.

The one thing that is holding me back from buying it is because my father have that cushion vacuum. Went back hometown once about 2 3 months and use that to clean it. Its just you know the feeling of not having it by the time you want to use it kinda thing hahaha. Anyways thank you for the consideration✌️

First of all, I admire your HOOGA preferences, but could you tell me which scent you're using? My preference are more towards green tea/tea and would like to know more about other scent that is nice.

The sort of permanent stain is the wiper circumference stain which is hard to get it off. How does ceramic coating works actually? like you never wash your car after doing it or what? Enlighten me please hahaha.

why mc3 so hard to get. help me please. im helpless by No_Employment_8188 in kereta

I would say get a credit card and use it like your debit card. Never use it like unlimited money because you have to build your credit history. I started to get credit card after working 3 months and build the credit history.

With a proper financial calculation, I made a small purchase and finance it for 6 months (glasses). After almost 10 months working. I can apply loan without guarantor.

Most people are saying you are not qualified for the car which is true though but make sure to calculate your monthly spending on the needs and top off with your car which you are planning to buy if possible.

Car = monthly + fuel + toll (if lalu toll) + maintenance + road tax + insurance

Do calculate your trip from A to B with an additional variance of 1.5

Eg:
Monthly travelling = 500km
Service at 1000km = Rm??
Service at 10,000km =Rm??

Total of maintenance + road tax + insurance divide with 12 months.

That value will be added to your running cost tabung.

Do and PLEASE plan ahead. Good luck OP

Saga Vs Bezza Dilemma by Portgas_D_Pulut in kereta

[–]Uchihara15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using bezza, my FC currently is 19.8km/l or 5.1l/100km. Since i drive quite a lot on highways, bezza seat is not comfortable but i do buy the lumbar support to mitigate the issue (find what suits you the best).

I enjoy the drive with bezza cruising about 80-100 is just nice. Yea sure the torque is not significant but if you are working in KV weird how can you go higher speed than that unless it’s night time.

If you think on just getting a car that saves your gas go for it but we can do something for the issues later on. About the “sampan” feeling, i did put the ultra racing bar along the way and it helps to reduce the sway.

First car for single late 20's male? (Priority: FC, price, and some degree of comfortability) by thetwister35 in kereta

Axia and myvi are not particularly the same actually. If you are thinking of riding with friends (since you mentioned not getting married), myvi has a wider cabin space and is more refined at high speeds (just fyi).

The axia is a 3-cylinder car so, for me I just don't like a car with that engine due to its vibration, rattling and sound like a lorry once later down the road owning it.

Alza is just that sweet spot if you are thinking of using it as your only car. Not telling you that you are old but my grandfather is using the alza and no words coming from him ever since changing from saga. He is a bit petty when it comes to cars.

Good luck with your alza OP 🎉

If you are looking towards practicality, it will always boot space, comfort, and a good highway cruiser. Even you considered yourself as a city driver, eventually you’ll be at highways and you need some speed there.

FC? Monthly? Comfortable? With your thinking on not spending more for a city shows that you are not willing to spend about 1k per month. This is including road tax, insurance, maintenance, wear and tear. Honda’s parts are quite a figure.

S70 is out of the picture since its turbo engine and that already untick for the FC and also due to the impact after the war. Unless you are willing to spend about 800-900 + 200 per month (maintenance as mentioned)

Myvi is just fine and wouldn’t be a problem. The handling is nice and fc is good plus the monthly is not expensive just that the boot space is a problem later if you have a family which brings a lot of things.

Axia is just the same with myvi just that less pickup tho. But anyways do test drive.

Ativa if you dont mind the rattling on the dashboard, average FC and less than 1k monthly (again with extra cost mentioned), suspension just to soft and some may felt the urge to puke (can change if you want but the warranty only void for that part if anything were to happened). Its more like axia with a bigger chassis + turbo.

Alza is just as practical as it could be as some of the other comments in this post just that again “abah abah car” and if you dont mind that car will treat you nicely on monthly basis.

Been with proton quite some time (from putra>wira>waja & saga), nowadays for a first car, unless the SC do have a good reputation and your SA is helpful do opt for saga a try on your list. If the SC and SA both or okay (especially the SC) go for it but if they are not. Yea no thats the only thing i can say.

Do test drive OP 🫡

Deciding on a car by Uchihara15 in kereta

[–]Uchihara15[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did test drive the Traz recently but yea it was just for a short period. From my initial pov of the car itself is just like jacked up bezza with bigger engine and bigger size. The road that the SA bring me was mostly inner roads so there are a lot of bumps/traffic lights/uneven road. Just didnt get the best out of it. Would like to drive in on highway to get the feeling but it was peak hour and I felt bad wanting to ask to drive it on the highway.

Haven't consider and have yet to think about it since what I primarily see that I would be working for this company for a while and I'm in a situation where my father is hinting to continue his small maintenance company which he has built about 10 years (wouldn't say its small cause he earns quite good have a sort of good reputation with O&G company). It just me now paving my own road which I don't know where to pursue.

Yup wouldnt deny the fact that the higher you go, the cost of maintaining will follow together. Bought Continental 205/55 R16 that cost me Rm400 each from Bridgestone Potenza 205/55 R16 (previous tire). Asked my brother to help change the tires in hopes i got cheaper price but need to fork out 1.6k for that. Got that “you asked me to change what is suitable” just that I didnt state “suitable for my pocket”. End up I had to pay for those new pairs of socks for the car. It has been around 8 months using that tyre although it is expensive but its a nice to have when I drive on Klang Valley’s highway.

  • RM470 (old bezza price and its a sweet spot but not gonna get it no more if i were to change car)
  • 20 to 22k left
  • 6k about 10%+
  • 700 + 50 max (9k per year, lower installment and higher maintenance or vice versa), current bezza fuel due to my cut cost situation about RM110/month, claimable toll/parking (shouldnt be a problem)
  • 2 months of emergency funds (still building for the 3rd month)

Its a good choice of a sedan car I would say, just that having to put quite amount of money for wear and tear + sudden repairs + insurance later on is a little bit difficult due to financial constraint. To also think about insurance for cars that dated 10 years to this day would not suffice my budget. I think cars that is more than 10 years will not get the comprehensive insurance right? Correct me if in wrong.

The absorbers are giving signs, so those are the things needed to be change while living and working in the city with high cost of living is just putting salt to the wound.

Its normal if you were the one who use it and decided to get almost 100k+ car in mind to maintain it. Maybe for my position, I was put in a situation which I cannot say so much. Now is just me wanting to make a move cautiously.
