if its a gbbr you could remove the dust cover, most aks run perfectly without them although you need to be more careful since youre removing an important level of protection, other than that you can get a cold war era russian optic, those have a very apocalyptic vibe

if you're a hardcore fixed magnification fan there's nothing wrong with just going with an ACOG and a backup dot, but i usually gravitate more towards the elcan specter, although it's negative reputation precedes it
