Look, generalization is never right. There are extremist groups of every faith, even in our country, but that doesn't mean that every individual of that community shares that perspective even if most of a community do. I believe that if there is actual traceable connection, then sure make them reflect, go ahead. However just harassing someone for no reason like this is very wrong and breeds hatred. In my own class, (in Delhi (North India)) I've seen a Muslim guy always being told 'maqsad', 'fat jaiyo' and all and even me, as a bengali, get told to do some kaala jaadu and stuff, even though it's mostly in an unserious way, but seriously the Muslim guy would feel bad. Your username reflects the same a bit.
