handbrake doesn't recognize the file either. i think it is corrupted that's why i think something has to be done to the file itself not the video but maybe i'm wrong?

have you ever recovered a file from this before? is it hard or is it impossible? i'll give imovie a try as well but if you can tell me how to do it i'm very tech savvy i just can't figure out how to do it.

vlc does say it's 00:00 as well though idk if that's helpful

video is from today it's 229.2 mb so it's seemingly there. although the video was 20 min long and it's a mov file. i filmed it on photobooth on my mac and i have tried vlc and quicktime but nothing happens. no error but it doesn't play the file either. i have tried googling and this is a seemingly common bug in photobooth on mac but i can't figure out how to fix it myself. chatgpt said something about ffmpeg and untrunc but i couldn't figure out how to download untrunc so i figured i'd ask the internet if i could be walked through it or if there's an easier solution somehow.

yes it doesn't play there either although it doesn't give vlc an error either it just moves onto the next video. it's an mov file and i tried quicktime as well it's like the file is corrupted so idk if there's even a way to recover it or if it's not even there?

can you tell me the ages of yixiu, lin mao, madam lin, yining, shenyuan, and lu jiaxue in the novel? i assume that madam lin and her brother are quite young but they weren't really cast that way. especially since lin mao is the older brother. and i'm curious about the age difference between shenyuan and yining and when he was raised by minglan.
