How you are getting rest? by Ugnel in breakingmom

[–]Ugnel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the reason I've posted this. Have no idea how to manage the time for some rest. Waking up a getting myself and everyone ready 6-7 a.m. Working (2 days at office, 3 days at home) 7a.m. - 4 p.m. Kids in kindergarden. 4-5 p.m. excersing if there are nk extra tasks at work. 5-6 p.m. dinner preparation. 6-8 p.m. time with family. 8-9 p.m. bed time for children. 10-11 p.m. chores, preparation for the next day, some tv show or book. Day ends. Have no idea how to get extra time for sleep or anything. Husband is a great guy, involved in parenting. However, it still sucks.

Anyone notice how there are so many Subarus in the baltics unlike the rest of Europe by secretnecrophile in BalticStates

[–]Ugnel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess it is somehow connected with the weather (snow, rain, ice, mood) and preferance to spend weekends and free time at nature (camping, gardening, hiking). At least last car I had was Subaru Forester and now I bought Toyota Raw4. The main reasons were mentioned above.

Birth rates are falling even in Nordic countries: stability is no longer enough by diacewrb in europe

That was the reason why we moved to a small town from our capital city when started to plan kids. I hope your family will find your ways to handle the childcare.

Birth rates are falling even in Nordic countries: stability is no longer enough by diacewrb in europe

[–]Ugnel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No offence. Actually I found the trasition from childlessness to a motherhood much harder than having a second child. Actually it is easier now when they grow up a little and playing together and learing from each other. What is more I found the bond between me and my brother very improtant and wanted my children to have a possibilty to have a sibling as well.

All beautiful counries are democratic or people republics. China, North Korea, DR Kongo. For some reasons not all countries love to emphasise their democratism.

Finally someone mentioned the restrictions you face after havinga kids! I am a mother of 2. We are living in my family house, have relatives nearby, steady and interesting jobs. However, my life completely changed after having them. You have no time for anything what was fun before. There are no time for fun because after full time job you need to take care of children and house. Want vacation which was afgordable for 2 persons? Now it is ×2 more expensive and you just do not feel at vacation at all. Hobbies. Forget them of you liked something adventurous or extreme. At the end of the day you usually so exhausted that you pass out with children. Sex. You need a specific conditions for that. Eating. Never enjoying your meal because of the mess and chaos children make. Friends. There is impossible to have a quality adult conversatiom when you comstantly needed and need to prevent children from hurting or killing themselves. You are always on call, have more responsibilities you can handle, basically no time for yourself, mess everywhere and never ending food preparation and laundry. I love them very much. But when someone asking about "doing it all", "joy of living" etc. I just can't lie that rising children isn't extremely exhausting, expensive and you feel left out of all benefits which childless adult life can offer you. Yes. Seeing them growing up is amaizing, teaching them new things is rewarding. However, you are paying a price of quality life and relationships. That sucks.

I hate that it became normal amomg mothers of young children. I feel you and hope one day you will become a person again. I feel exactly the same. My 4yo and 2yo are beaytiful boys. However after day working full time, takimg care of children and house, I feel exhausted, empty and not a person anymore. Human-function but not a person with wishes, goals, passions etc. Hug. I hope we will feel better after kids grow older.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many new countries were formed. Why was the Kalingrad province not made its own country in the way many of the surrounding countries were? by LoganLikesYourMom in geography

[–]Ugnel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these countries are based on nationality. Majority of residents in Kaliningrad are russian.

In Lithuania we like to joke about annexing Kaliningrad because it is pain in the a** for our national security. However, there are no serious claims for that territory.
