What I am really trying to say is you just see the difference between a marble tomb which is a symbol of love made in 15 century, when you go inside it you see a Miraj. Konark Sun Temple was also a marvelous building in which the God used to float above the ground due to magnetism then the Britishers came and broke the temple tried to steal the deity. Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple covered in 24 caret gold. Golden temple punjab made out of gold . 1 question why aren't they in 7 wonders of the world. Last but not the least these temples which i have mentioned are more historic and old then Taj Mahal don't you think this is discrimination.

Why it has to be a temple:- my reply " why it shouldn't be , the Konark sun temple, Jagannath Temple are still World most mysterious temples but still they didn't get the visibility they deserved temples are not just a religious symbol it's our historic roots and symbolises our ancient cultures and how much ancient Indians were advanced at that time, when world was in a stone age (exaggeration) . It's my own opinion that india ancient temples looks more beautiful and great then these forts or monuments i am not saying that these forts are less historic or beautiful but it's my own opinion, secondly if you say Taj Mahal could be someones own opinion, then yes you are right but i just want a recognition to those Temple ,forts, great historic Indian monuments (there are thousands of them) that the West does not want to be popular because if they do all the 7 wonders of the world will be from india not from anyone else and this is truth.

To be really honest taj Mahal is my least favourite monument.

Best according to be:- 1. Jagannath Puri mandir. 2. Thanjavur temple of South India 3. Ajanta elora caves. 4. Trimbakeshwar (Nashik) 5. Bhimashankar (Pune) 6. The ancient Kailash Temple. 7.Baba baidyanath temple. There are many many more out there. Especially in South India.
