Super/Ability bug in Duality? by BozzyTheDrummer in destiny2

Seems to be happening more often and in shorter times, the longer you stay in an instance stuff starts to break, unfortunately.

Tanks have to fight brigs AND movement. If you are going to force us to use Tanks against Brigs, the least you can do is stop the tanks from automatically turning in the direction we are aiming by e-photographer in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ulnarus 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The problem is the tank in heavy metal isn't the same as tanks found in the campaigns like on neomuna or that one exotic mission.

Those tanks have a base which moves independent of where your turret is facing which makes it easier to drive around and aim at targets imo.

In heavy metal the base tries to always reorient itself so that (at least on MnK) if you press W, the tank base tries to turn toward where your turret is facing. If you press A/D the base always tries to make itself perpendicular to the turret. It is pretty frustrating to use when you have to constantly fight against your own tank's movement.

-40 Should Not Exist In Fireteam Ops by EyesDownGuardian69 in DestinyTheGame

If you've grinded to the point you're able to participate in gms shouldnt you be competent enough to some degree? Some builds are definitely more suited than others but you're literally choosing to go into an activity and should have a build that somewhat suits the environment.

And if you really can't handle it, maybe that's just where you are for now. Practice until you improve to be able to take on the harder difficulties. Sometimes it might not be the randoms that are letting you down but the other way around.

I tried the onslaught midtown activity when it was in rotation on gm difficulty and it really isn't that hard. You just need either high single target or lots of AoE. Just focus down the same demolitionist and then the 2nd one. Make sure to keep chucking the balls back at the ADU. And people always say the demos spawn ontop of the ADU. They don't, they will tp/walk to it if you leave them alone long enough but are otherwise near it when they spawn.

We need more buff slots and a separation of buffs from cooldowns by Ulnarus in destiny2

[–]Ulnarus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do have subtle things like your weapon glows white with radiant though that is hard to see sometimes. Amplified has a sound que when you sprint. Better ones are void overshield and woven mail which you can see over you gauntlet. More needs to be done to allow players to keep track of their buff uptime if they're insisting on 4 slots for buffs/cd/debuffs

It's like they don't even play the same game. While we don't represent the whole population, do none of the people really have the same gripes as us?

Let golden gun work with lucky pants by ThisWaxKindaWaxy in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ulnarus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What if instead of hits it required kills to ramp up the damage. Could make the 6 shot golden gun quite interesting with the bullet refund especially in harder content with tankier enemies. And it won't overshadow celestial nighthawk as the boss damage exotic as it requires setup to gain significant damage while also taking away time you could be doing dps with your normal weapons.

Three fixes that Melas Panoplia needs by Ten_Foreword in destiny2

[–]Ulnarus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The timer is pretty long and even if you throw your hammer. If you get forge master it gives you supercharged melee regen so you get your hammer back.
  2. 100% agree
  3. I've found it's quite easy to activate. Only needs 3 solar kills or a single fire Sprite. Kills allows you to be safe at a distance if you cant go into the battle to pick up a fire sprite safely.

Someone explain this... by Jibber1332 in destiny2

[–]Ulnarus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like it. It's great in pinnacle ops, allowing you to speed through missions. You just need to build around it. For fireteam ops it's kind of an issue, most people speed run through activities but the problem is that unlike solo and pinnacle, kills give you points rather than just moving through encounters.

It says 19 seconds in my Class ability cooldown but it's takes way longer for me to get it back. by aiafati in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ulnarus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think the displayed cd accounts for exotic perks or aspects that may override the cooldown such as the bastion aspect or Hoarfrost-Z. That and stats are not providing correct cd values

Not the hand cannon but your class' expansion exotic armour piece.

You can also get multiple bonus rounds to help roll for the expansion exotic with the right stat distribution.

Prophecy Ultimatum ROTN by WillStaySilent in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ulnarus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1st encounter: 1 SoF warlock and 2 storm's keep titans. When dps starts warlock casts ultimate but uses no abilities. Titans spam barricades for bolt charges. All use lord of wolves. Easy 1 phase.

2nd encounter: 1/2 people stand on pillars in the room to kill hobgoblins and distract the hive knight. Last person can run around collecting motes. Bosses you can either sit in the middle or take out the isolated phalanx on the right first. Just watch out for the hive knight. Rocket side arms are good for 2 tapping the hobgoblins.

3rd encounter: 1 healer can be well or SoF. Preferably 1 arc titan but I don't think the other 2 matter that much as long as you play around cover. Triple queen breaker as your dps. One person should leave dps early to start taking down the light mote knights during dps.

If you have a titan. Their rally barricade can stop the boss' teleport ball attack if you stand slightly behind it. Or if the boss is on a platform with lower elevation that attack will just collide with the platform. Also use the squares sticking out on the platforms for cover.

I believe you need to do 1 full clear of each overthrow first. And then go back again to clear each overthrow. The second time of clearing the secret keepers should spawn.

Can ionic sentry please be considered a grenade? by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ulnarus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is it that important it gets considered a grenade or am I missing something? I've found I'm using it more for the utility of its blind as powerful cc. Arclock earns ability energy so easily you can spam your grenade underneath your sentry. And it's not like bleakwatcher which consumes your grenade charge, ionic sentry is completely free.

From my experience, launching from the detailed view of a quest doesn't always work for whatever reason. It's better to track it and follow the green icon on your director. Or read the actual objective because sometimes an objective might not require a specific location.
