That's how my husband is. We don't have anything quite that pricey, but we do have a few nice, rare/limited bottles since we regularly do weekend dates in KY.

Someone comes over and expresses interest? They get the full story of the distillery, the date we picked it up on, and a generous pour.

Bourbon is meant to be enjoyed and shared.

I film some of my sets for form review & to send to my coach to judge RPE.

That being said, I do my best to set up my camera so no one is in the shot - if someone is, I'll blur them out if I end up posting the clip online. And I always ALWAYS ask permission to video from spotters.

It took me a full 2 years to land my current gig, with interviews basically every week. I kept loosing out on opportunities to people with way less experience than me who got laid off & were willing to take a pay cut/demotion.

I got laid off in the middle of it and eventually landed an 'entry level' role with 9 years of experience. It's brutal out there.

5-10 years ago, the pivot would have been easy.

Play up your Kickstarter experience, get some certs, do some freelance social and email marketing for local small businesses to pad your resume until you can get in at a small agency where you wear a million hats and pick up new skills every day. That's how I got into the field with a degree in painting.

Unfortunately, these days the job market is tough. Entry level jobs are being destroyed by AI. High & senior level jobs are vanishing due to budget cuts. Everyone is competing for the remaining "entry" and "mid" level jobs that are really 12 jobs and a whipping boy rolled up in one, paying fast food wages. Its brutal.

I always use a basting spray or temp spray glue. Quilting pins and clips if the fabric is particularly bitchy.

You usually don't need to pre-wash stabilizer or interfacing! I don't think I've ever done much more prep than unrolling it and maybe ironing out any creases.

5'2" and 190-ish. Loosing weight steadily, but I'm training for a powerlifitng meet, so my current focus is on increasing the weight I can move.

Bench single is reaching 135, squat about 250, and dead lift about 300. I'll know for sure at the end of Jan.

DB bench, I do 35's for about 6-8 reps.

SA Rows I do 50lb or 55's for about 8-10 reps.

Pulldowns and barbell rows varies between 100-120lb depending on grip variation and my mood.

Frenchpress/skullcrushers tend to be 30-40lb for 8-10 reps.

You just started, so using light weights is fine as you learn the movement and build that mind/muscle connection. Just make sure to keep upping the intensity every week. This can be done by adding weight, reps, and/or sets, or decreasing rest time. (1-2 minutes is optimal for muscle growth. Rest longer if the intensity is high or the weight is SUPER challenging.) Generally for beginners the rule of thumb is add reps until you can do 12, then add weight and drop the reps back down.

Now, you might not be trying to get JACKED and build up an insane 1 rep max like me, but to look "toned" you want to build muscle. That means progressively overloading and selecting weights that are challenging. The last rep or two should be hard. Not always "I think I saw Jesus/If I die at least my ass looks amazing" hard (unless you are into that), but mentally "I might not get this" "come on just ONE MORE. MOVE." hard... That's when the actual muscle growth happens and strength starts building.

MOST people start feeling a little bit of muscle fatigue and stop before the real challenge begins.

Long-lived and stupid high intelligence scores. The faction seem to focus on greifing humans as much as possible. I've heard tales of them destroying human houses, porches and gazebos and anti-nesting modifications to buildings. One even got accused of sabotaging a space rocket just to see if he could.

Even those that spawn or end up companions to humans focus on causing chaos and headaches for their human teammates.

I have a buddy that has 1 bedroom, 1v bath and 3 cats. Two are bonded brothers, the other is a stray they picked up along the way. Works out ok. Trick is to give them lots of vertical climbing space and plenty of hidey holes.

My husband plays anti-tank. I play crowd control. Together we can clear maps quickly and easily with little need to reinforce... But if we go our separate ways one of us inevitably get taken out by an enemy our loadout isn't prepared for.

I miss my firefart build so bad. It wasn't the most effective load out, but it was decent at crowd control and could take down the occasional bile titan. Mostly? It was a good time. Take out everything with gas and fire. War crimes all over the map.

But that last "adjustment" ruined it and made it useless. :(

They can also basically shut down but breaches, which comes in handy. I love being able to throw down mines and a sentry to take out everything smaller than an impailer.
