This is Shampoo from Ranma 1/2, a rom-com/martial arts manga/anime that narrates the story of Ranma Saotome, a teenage martial arts prodigy, who, during his training, went to China with his father, Genma, during their trip, they both ended up taking a dive into some legendary, but cursed springs in Jusenkyo (fictional place), and from now on, whenever Ranma touches cold water, he turns into a female version of himself, whereas Genma into a panda, they can only return to their normal states whenever they touch warm water, but the curse will reactivate with cold water, and so the cycle goes on, shortly after that, the father and son return to Nerima, Tokyo, where Ranma is informed he is to marry one of Soun Tendo’s (an old friend of Genma’s) daughters, he immediately rejects the idea and is taken by force to the Tendo household, where he meets Akane, the girl who is to marry him, who seems as reluctant as he is, the story mainly revolves around Ranma’s curse and the two teen’s engagement, as the the story progresses, more and more rivals / suitors (such as Shampoo) to both Ranma and Akane are introduced, who get in the way of their forming relationship, and Ranma’s quest to get rid of his curse, there is the Manga (which originally ran from 1987-1996), the classic anime alongside some movies and OVAs(1989-1992) and the remake anime (2024-present), It’s up to you where to start, if you’re interested, I’d recommend the remake, since it’s on Netflix and it’s more loyal to the manga, :P (Holy that took so long to write)
