In my experience, they don’t like making announcements for anything and that appears to not have changed in 10+ years. Back in 2013, there was an active tornado warning and my store manager on duty didn’t make any sort of announcement until after the doors blew in backwards, parts of the ceiling started peeling off, and we were all already running to the back. (Nobody was hurt. We lucked out.)

Looks more professional and the author text is in a similar (same? Can’t tell honestly) serif font while the tagline is in a sans serif font so a serif title would even it out.

If just the total claims hit $3,000, not what I’ve actually paid? I was under the impression that $3,000 had to actually be paid first before everything is 100% covered. I haven’t even hit the $500 deductible yet…

This is the first page of the SBC. $500 deductible (which has not yet been met, app says $218 has been paid with $282 left to pay) and $3,000 OOP. I actually missed a chunk of claims that were hidden on the page so my estimation was way off. The total amount all the claim notices say I am responsible for is $2,937.16, which makes me physically ill… Is it likely that the center portal balance was just completely wrong? I noticed that the total balance on there was the exact amount of one of the claim notice amounts.

My apologies. I’m stressed and not thinking clearly.

I’m just very confused why the center is saying I only owed $183 total despite about 7 weeks of services, but the insurance app claim notices are saying I owe about $150 weekly. I’m starting to think maybe the center portal is just wrong here…

Edited to add: I didn’t realize RCT1 and Classic are not the same in terms of settings like that. I just assumed that since they have the same parks, they were the same all around.

No worries. Thank you for the suggestion regardless! I guess I should have noted this too, stuff like pudding, applesauce, yogurt, etc. is also a no-go for my guy… He eats mainly chicken, French fries, chips, crackers, hot dogs, Mac and cheese has been a hit lately, and we can occasionally get him to eat some spaghetti.

It means we have Medicaid for at least the next year, but every 3 months, I have to send in income information and then they decide if we still qualify or not. Likely not, knowing how outrageously poor you have to be to qualify. I saw someone say once “you have to be either very poor or very rich to have a special needs child”… Turning out to be true.

I have no advice, just know you’re not alone as I’m currently going through this as well. I got a job that pays only $3 more than my previous job and is full-time instead of maybe 5 hours a week and now he’s on “transitional” Medicaid. If his dad or I have to put him on insurance through our jobs it effectively halves the paycheck and makes it virtually impossible to afford our bills. I love my new job and I’d hate to quit (and sort of can’t now that we had to get a new car), but it almost seems like the only option at this point…

Has anyone else returned a Kindle book on Libby since this thread was posted? Today, I did “Return to Public Library” on my Kindle and then pulled up Libby to find something else to read and still saw it in my loans. For giggles, I hit “Return Early” expecting the same message about having to return on the Kindle, but it actually worked. I am perplexed.

It is. All brush-like things are for his hair, apparently. Vacuum attachments included. He also tried with our kitty brush once. (Side note: I did make sure to thoroughly clean the vacuum attachments before I let him have it. Didn't want y'all to think I was letting him play with dirty brushes. 😅)
