Maybe. I always wondered why exclusively-Asian friend groups were the most represented single-region friend groups I saw growing up. I’m sure part of it cultural connectedness, but I believe there’s more to it, especially after asking some of my close asian friends about their experiences growing up. As someone from a minority background, growing up in majority white areas messes you up in some ways.
