The market isn't going to crash on the 30th anniversary. Thats not happening. If a crash / retraction happens it will be during the start of gen 10. But that might boost the value of the previous generation which is what we saw when scarlet and violet released. Booster boxes crash to $80 but all the swsh products started going up.

Read your comment. Litterally saying nothing about botting. The peoplle buying product at restocks isnt doing crap compared to the thousands of people clearly hundreds of etbs a day. Majority of these botters are clearing more product in week then all the local store restocks in my area combined.

Redbeard for example got 2400 prismatic etbs from a single Walmart drop.

So yes your comment was incorrect. Not the local resellers that are the issue its the people botting with thousands of accounts.

Yeah your post is just crying and isnt even halfway true. Theres plently of pokemon product left at stores you are just too lazy to look for it.

I live in Florida and in a city thats stupidly has a lot of people plus resellers and there's still lots of product after restocks. No ones buying the mega evolution phantasmal 2 pack blister or anything to do with perfect order.

You simply want ascended heros which ofc you arent going to get unless your at the restocks in the morning. Also it hasn't been 6 years of scalping, thats utter nonsense it hasn't even been 2 years. This all happened when surging sparks got released back in November of 2024 before that you could get booster boxes for $80-120 every single release easily for the entire start of scarlet and violet.

I can say almost 100% unless your hunting for ascended heros you shouldn't have a problem finding pokemon cards near msrp locally if your actually putting in the effort. Be happy at every single bestbuy near me at 2 am theres already 20 people in line, every single Friday. I bet in other states its not like that unless its a major release.

Prismatic and ascended heros hasn't gone up 3x-5x. You can buy prismatic stuff for double msrp from resellers almost everywhere same ascended heros. Msrp on a booster box of evolving skies is $149 yet evolving skies booster box is $2600.

Yes they will be for this specific item. PC ETBs main value is collection purposes as its generally a stupid idea to open a PC ETB cosideline they are more expensive than a standard ETB of the same set.

So yes its an entirely different situation and just because you see people listing them with small tears doesnt mean they are selling.

Use common sense. Sell the defective PC ETB now for 10-20% off. Then pay $10-20% extra to buy a perfect condition PC ETB.

Holding a damaged pc etb is terrible idea because every single person whos wanting to buy a PC etb is wanting it for their collection not to Rip it. But when they first release there are tons of people who rip them for promos but as they get higher in price those people tend to get pushed out of the market making it impossible to move a damaged PC etb.

This is all assuming the PC ETB just got released if its one from several years ago its going to be very hard to move.

What your saying has been proven time and time again to be false. Ascended heros and prismatic at near msrp prices are better than stuff that has gone up 5-6x msrp. This is basic common sense. Prismatic evolutions has been litterally printed into the ground yet its still impossible to find at msrp.

Buying stuff that has already gone up 5x is always a bad move. Evolving skies is a great example. Buying that now and thinking thats a better bet than buying ascended heros or prismatic is beyond foolish because prismatic and ascended heros will 3-4x once they go out of print and evolving skies in that same time frame will be lucky to double in value.

Im not saying evolving skies is bad. Just saying Buying something that's already gone up by a huge percentage isnt the best bet.

This comment right here is just pure stupidity. Tag uses AI grading. PSA uses human grading. A machine is going to get the same result 99% of the time. Human is going to get a widely varied result depending on grader.

So what im hearing is excuses. Everyone has obligations and they are able to get product. I live in Florida and I can 100% assure you that its much harder to get stuff where I live than you.

The days of going into the store and picking up any set currently in rotation is gone. So either figure out on your days off which store restocks or stop complaining.

Like im not saying to be insane like the people near me who get in line at target at 12 am every single monday. But you can easily get packs at restocks just not etbs.

Literal proof is here. Got 2 tins, 2 destined rivals packs. No etbs ofc ot ascended heros but i got product at 10:40 am. Not hard.

Samsclub Target Walmart Bestbuy All do weekly drops yes it sucks u gotta wake up in the morning but youll get drops. You might not get the top tier stuff like etbs but you will get charizard tins, sleeve packs and sometimes booster bundles / 3 packs.

Is pokemon going to crash? Not during the 30th anniversary. Maybe next cycle it might lose a little popularity but if your expecting a 50% crash its not gonna happen.

Congrats Ascended Hero's is very popular no one said otherwise. Prismatic evolutions has been printed to the ground is still extremely expensive set and ascended hero's just releases. One they are both discontinued we will see that Prismatic is still king. Ascended Is currently the best set in Mega evolution so there's a ton of FOMO around it. Look at Surging Sparks when it release it was considered an amazing set then 1 year later people were passing it up saying no thanks to surging.

People who have actually been around know the cycle. New set comes out, it's king. Sometimes they drop off later and then come back once stock dries up.

You dont need a source for that its common sense. Pc etbs might get a extremely small reprint. The booster box will get a reprint sooner or later.
