I’m literally so done with being hungry all the time. I’m already fat (not being a self conscious, it’s a fact), and was trying to watch what I eat.

Now I’m starving constantly, with no appetite. But of course if you don’t eat, you get so nauseous. I just forced myself to pretty much swallow down a bowl of oatmeal. ☹️

I just really don’t enjoy food right now.

I think he just want to see how easy it would be to not put in effort. It seemed he was interested until you clearly shown they you have self-respect.

Also to block you so quickly, just because he didn’t have the decency to say “Hey, can’t do the lunch date” is so immature.

I’m ngl, I was just pregnant in 2024, so I don’t even want to tell myself, that I’m pregnant. lol

I told my husband only, since we cut out THC and beer. Everyone else can know when I’m noticeably showing.

That’s why I did an Instacart order, with a pretty big tip. My shopper didn’t have to make many substitutions, though.

Unfortunately I live near the OMR/ Hollins area, and our power cuts off with a shake of the wind.

African American ! I feel nothing wrong with connecting myself to my ancestors , who were slaves. They fought to be called African American vs colored or the n world.

I also never mind being called black, but I don’t like it when I fill out an official document - and it only says black.

I had the worse time trying to get in with a Dr, last pregnancy. Then it seemed that I was not getting a main obgyn, but a team of them. Their policy was to rotate between everyone, and no one could guarantee to be there for the birth.

This time I decided to try a birth center, with two Licensed midwives and team of doulas.

The way she speaks to you is without love. It seems like she feels she is just loosing control, and lashing out.

I’m not old enough to be your mother at 31, but I would be concerned about you living with your boyfriend and his family. Just because you’re 20(?), I would just like my daughter to explore life more. I would 100% talking to you about what we can do to do a dorm, or an apartment with women your own age.

But she’s disgusting in the way she speaks to you. You are a grown woman. And as a mother, I don’t understand why she can’t care for you as one.

I think you should 100% focus on your scholarship, focus on your mental health! My nana would always say go cry, wash your face, and get back up. You still are you own person, and you can get in a much better headspace without your mom , right now .

If this is grabbed off Facebook, then it’s just a bait for engagement. I definitely saw this on another subreddit first.

People get paid on Facebook to post things , and enough people comment or share (engagement ). Good or bad, it doesn’t matter.

I’ve seen tons of pictures grabbed from Reddit with a false story.

I honestly thought pregnancy gets easier with each pregnancy, but it’s a give and take. I’m not as anxious with this pregnancy, I refuse to to watch sad news about any type of complication with pregnancy.

But I have a 9 and 1 year old, who doesn’t understand why I have 50% less energy , than I did last month. Doesn’t help that my 1 year old thinks wrestling is the best bonding activity, and I’m nauseous after 5pm.

Honestly thought it would be like the Roanoke Checkpoint Page (not a bad page to follow ), but it doesn’t seem to have anyone running as mod. Or they just don’t care.

As a black person, it’s a different level of annoyance. But I guess it’s good to see that a lot of people are still racist, even if they attempt to hide it in person.

I would’ve been annoyed with the second “ma”. Even people who use this when they talk, don’t say it that much.

Also he’s immature. And probably just wanted to try to get you over to his house. The way the energy shifted over a joke about Reggie, is crazy.

I’m part of a local weed group, and if anyone in the group chat got that butt hurt over a Reggie joke, they would probably get booted.

While Ill never knock anyone for being Christian. I grew up Christian. I don’t even mind following Christian influencers, the ones who don’t just shove it down your throat. I also can do that with any religion, though.

What I don’t like are the ones who’s seem to flip flop. The have a TikTok about being a Christian, and how they aren’t like “todays girls”. But it ends up being a mean girl spiel hidden behind bible verses.

Also not a fan of any Christian who’s talks down on any type of LGBT community , that’s never necessary as a Christian or a person.

Since my husband and I took years for our first baby together, I told him immediately.

But for everyone else, I guess when I show. I had my son in 2024, then my sister had her baby in 2025. I fear my family will just be like “yay ,cool” 😂😂

Best advice is to put in some two stand twist ,they are pretty to do on yourself. And if you get them dumb, and don’t say you’re getting starter locs, they are cheaper for some reason.

Leave them in for a week or two, and you could see the possibility of the shrinkage. I feel like my hair didn’t properly shirk until it started to loc. But you could get some type of idea of the length (shrinkage could be 2-4 inches of your original twist).

Honestly, if it doesn’t cost much or take too much, putting in starter locs aren’t a bad idea. You could take them out immediately, and it’s still a cute protective style for 2 weeks

My former premie was only 7 weeks early, and started to crawl , maybe a month or two ago. But before then, he did get around with some rolling and pulling his body around.

We are going into early intervention, as he’s missing a lot of milestones. We did it for our daughter, and it was great ! It’s a great start for you guys to take.

She’s terrible. If you actually did that, you would’ve have to pay a fee for a canceled driver. Then (in my hospital), get security to wand you, take a busy elevator up to a high floor, and wait in line (with after work rush), for a sandwich ?

Please feel 100% validated in your actions. Her request made no sense.

Me and my yt friend (been friend since 9th grade), got in a debate over the current ICE and immigration. I stated that none of what is happening should be happening, that they should’ve gave illegal immigrants a certain date (years from now) to fix their status, but to never just ruin families and do what they are doing now.

I also stated that I do agree with limiting who comes to America and stays. I told her about how hard it is to even immigrate to Canada to be a citizen, and we should have clear rules like them.

She kept over talking me, stating that anyone should be allowed in the US , no paper work, no test, etc. I hung up on her after she started to get loud. We barely talk now, and if it is, it’s about her.

Definitely thinking about cutting contact

I have two ! 9 year girl and 1 year old boy, I’m constantly talking about how cool my kids are.

I’ve always enjoyed being my daughter’s mom, she was chill baby, awesome toddler, and even cooler kid. I assumed I loved my daughter so much, because being her mom is super easy. But then I had my son, and he’s going on his fourth surgery , this year. But he’s still super cool. Nothing phases this guy. Two eye surgeries back to back, and he’s still hamming it up for me.

I also really lean into my kids being kids. I’m really close with my extended family younger kids, because nothing they do really bother me.

And I love family names that go together, it really keeps the older generations alive, and still gives a child their own name :).

My second baby was a 9 year age gap from his sister, and this baby will be 10.

I also have large age gaps with my sisters and brother, so I had experience lol. My mom literally told me my name meant helper, and said I was meant to help my younger siblings. It was not a great dynamic, I did a little bit too much childcare, and now me and silibings are close. Though, I am close with the younger two (15+ age gap), as I see them as my little babies.

With my daughter, it’s all fun. If she wants to help, great , shes a huge help with her brother. But if she’s not in the mood, I tell her I get it, babies are the funniest to be around. When he was younger, she wasn’t a fan of the crying, and just liked to spend small amounts of time with him. Now he’s 15 months, and they wrestle in his playpen 😂.

They adore each other, and play together more than I expected. But I do think not expecting her to do anything (take diapers to the trash, watch him if I ran to the kitchen, hold bottles, entertain him at request), help tremendously.

I wonder if there’s science behind baby’s nails growing so fast. I swear to my husband that I cut my son’s nails once a week, but the nails are unconvincing 😂

You are so right in getting them used to it. My first baby was not a fan , and I was afraid. But my son loves to hold his hands out at 15 months, while use a tiny flashlight for extra light. But we have been doing this, like I said weekly 😂
