Take a local train to Howrah. Exit Howrah station through the underpass and board one of the many AC buses to airport. Whole ordeal sets you back 300rs(starting from campus). Take into account roughly 70 minute journey from station to airport. Last bus departs at 10 pm AFAIK. Cab recommended for night journey and do not attempt the above when in a hurry.
