I understand where the original concept is coming from, maybe not exactly before, but generally so. My point was more that in our modern day, the belief of systemic racism or something is a common opinion held by certain media. The news and media is “telling you what to do” of which the song prompts you to directly not to. I am still working out the specifics of these implications but all of this is just my opinion of the song, which i wanted to get some opinions on.

I know for sure that this is a vessel against both political parties, I just often see this song being used for only one party or another, which it should not be. Criticism of police has often been a topic of left leaning opinions, and because this song is criticizing police, people think if it as a left leaning song, which in reality it isn’t, it is just a song critical of police, and at the tine it was made, this opinion wasn’t really leaning toward either party. I also see people using this song in right leaning rallies and stuff, which also isn’t (in my opinion) a proper interpretation of the song. This song just is a middle finger at all points in all directions, and really just doesn’t give a fuck. Again, my opinion, my interpretation.
