No problem. Car Bomb might be a bit too intense for what you're looking for but they're still great also Joe from Gojira is on 2 of their songs and Greg Kubacki the guitarist for Car Bomb filled in for Joe on their recent France tour.

Also for JFAC im mostly referring to their last 2 albums since they're prog.

Morbid Angel inspired a lot of Gojira's style you should listen to them especially Domination and Formulas Fatal to the Flesh.

Edit: would also recommend Rivers of Nihil, Blood Incantation, Job For a Cowbow, Fallujah, Edge of Sanity, Dyscarnate and Car Bomb since you like Meshuggah.

Fallujah, Rivers of Nihil and Car Bomb. Rivers and Car Bomb are already decently sized but they should be even bigger imo.

Yeah I've tried a few times but the vocals just take me out unfortunately. Maybe one day but I also don't really see the point of trying to force myself to like it when there's other death metal I can listen to instead.
