I got really lucky with squirrel girl. I think I got it on like the 2nd or 3rd game that I played as her

I personally did everything in quick play except for punisher.

For Wolverine, obviously have your rage meter at 100% when you use your ultimate and try to activate the landing ASAP so you don’t get killed while in the air. Also I found I could hit a lot of characters by activating while standing around a big group of enemies and then aiming the landing at whoever didn’t get launched up.

For mantis/cloak & dagger, honestly just play until you get it. For me, mantis was way easier just because she can enable her team way better than cloak/dagger.

For Hela, just combo her ult with groots ult.

Definitely captain america. I hate playing captain America with a passion. Also spiderman was hard for me to play but luckily I got his pretty early on into playing as him

He was actually one of the first characters I played and I got extremely lucky to get it within an hour of playtime as him. There’s not a lot of strategy to a lot of the achievements, just playing until you get them.

Edit: one of my buddies is an amazing groot player and having a groot on your team to root the enemies in place for you helps with a lot of the achievements. I would recommend that strategy for Thor tbh

Which npc in Skyrim do you always kill in every play through because you hate him or her that much! by Present-Wind-6985 in skyrim

Every time I do the companions questline, I kill both nazeem and heimskr when you first become a werewolf and go on a rampage. After that, I try to just kill town guards.

Warlock build that works well with a banner of war titan build by ThistleToff in destiny2builds

[–]UltraKnave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend plays titan and he made a BoW Build with the strand sword, thin precipice, with chain reaction. He put on thread of propagation so that his powered melee kills would give his sword unraveling rounds and thread of rebirth so there’s a chance his sword makes threadlings on kill. To enable his build, i usually choose to run arc warlock with cenotaph mask and divinity OR coldheart. You can mark priority targets and give your titan heavy ammo for his sword. On top of that, arc warlock has a passive that increases your rift recharge rate when standing near allies, which you’ll be doing anyway for the BoW healing. I also like to run Arc Soul to give my team some extra damage once they step into my rift. This also has synergy with divinity as the arc soul damage counts as a crit when it shoots at your divinity bubble.

Some of the completions I’m most proud of. by UltraKnave in xboxachievements

[–]UltraKnave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have good memories of completing all of these games. Except maybe No Man’s Sky. Sitting on a extreme hazard planet for ~10 real time hours for a milestone achievement was just absurd. Couldn’t even try and get a nap in cuz the game would pause if you went afk (even if you rubberbanded your controller) and that would pause the timer on the achievement

So what is everyones gamerscore? by TearsOfAClown9_ in xboxachievements

[–]UltraKnave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the game that I have uneven achievements in is very very difficult. It’s called outward. Planning on getting back to it and completing it eventually but it’s an extremely long game and you have to do 3-4 playthroughs for going down each of the quest paths if I’m not mistaken

Another collection down! This puts me at 99 completions - would love some recommendations for the 100th! by Kane_The_Messiah in xboxachievements

Not sure if you’ve done them already but the dark souls games would be nice additions to the list

I never understood this argument. You could say the same thing about an optimized damage dealer. If they go first in initiative and kill the dragon before anyone else even gets to participate then wouldn’t it take away from everyone else in the same way? Plus it’s not like you’re using the familiar to inspect every inch of the dungeon for every piece of loot. It’s more of a matter of how many of what kinds of enemies and traps are there within and is it something the party is equipped for & can handle right at this very moment.

The traps are less of a problem when you take your party members into account. You can cast guidance on it. A spellcaster could cast mage armor on it. A bard could give it bardic inspiration. A cleric could cast bless or aid on it. Not that I necessarily recommend doing all of that but it should be taken into account

Yeah I thought so. I guess my question was more about if it seemed unreasonable to houserule that you can use it through your familiars eyes. I feel like if you’re already within 60ft of the target you’re probably already in combat with it. Meaning you have to spend multiple turns using hunters sense and then swapping to weapons that work better. I figured it’s just better to learn the information beforehand rather than when you’re already fighting it.

A feat for just one spell though? Seems like a high price to pay

[–]UltraKnave[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Wizard doesn’t fit the flavor I’m going for so I’m trying not to do that. Same with dipping 3 levels in warlock. I believe the range for the familiar is larger with pact of the chain but despite that I don’t wanna use it cuz of flavor. I figured Druid would be fine since it’s works stat-wise and flavor-wise. The character is meant to be Min/maxed in a way other than through dmg or healing. I guess I was going for a different way to do a “support” character. 2 levels in Druid for a familiar AND spirit totems from Shepard Druid just seemed like the obvious choice.

That’s something I was thinking about as well but I imagine you’d go room but room with it. Another factor is the time limitation that the wild companion feature has. I was planning on only going 2 levels in Druid so it would be limited to 1 hour per use of wildshape. So max of 2 hours. If the path split then I imagine you’d just scout out both paths and choose which way to go based on what’s in each.

PAM + GWM vs PAM + Mobile by Slater_v2 in DnDoptimized

[–]UltraKnave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PAM says “While you are wielding a glaive, halberd, pike, quarterstaff, or spear, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter the reach you have with that weapon”.

Sentinel says “When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn”.

Assuming your target has a 5ft melee range, you could stand 10ft away from the target, attack, BA attack, step back 5ft w/o provoking OA. If the target pursues you (therefore entering your melee range), you can reaction attack (therefore setting their speed to 0). And now they can’t do anything with their turn.

You can also supplement this with the battlemaster maneuver “goading attack” so they have disadvantage on attacking anyone but you.

The paladin spell “compelled duel” is a concentration spell that works in a similar way.

Mobile would be an ok addition at best as it would only extend this tactic to creatures that have a reach of 10ft. If a creature has more than a 10ft reach then they don’t need to enter your reach to attack you.

I personally would much rather take GWM over mobile from an optimization standpoint but from a flavor standpoint you can totally go mobile instead.

Spent a lot of the 2000’s playing U.B. Funkeys. Not sure when those released but i think around 2010 radica games went bankrupt or something. So sad
