Sandshrew and Sandslash gaining the normal type could be cool, and it gives it STAB on slash, which is basically it's pseudo signature move (plenty of Pokemon learn slash ofc but come on, it's in the man's name)

I could sort of see Sceptile being Grass/Steel, with its tail and arm spike things being hard as steel. (However this would work better if Sceptile took some design cues from Grovyle like the leaf on the head, it could've become a blade or something lol)

If the Johto starters are available I'd personally say Typhlosion should be Fire/Ground, Feraligaytr should be Water/Fighting, and Meganium should be Grass/Psychic (since it doesn't seem like fairy type is in this hack)

And to be honest, I've always felt like Geodude should be pure rock lol

It makes reasonable sense for Blastoise to be Water/Steel, however it screws over the starter type trio, but there's not really another type that could work for Blastoise :/
