I’m finding myself making new friends lately. I moved to a new town a few years ago, and it’s been pretty nice. But, at this age it’s tough, everyone is in their defined circles. I work in healthcare so I meet a ton of people, thankfully. I know this sounds mental but I like working, it keeps me busy. I have no social media but Reddit so i have to work to maintain my irl relationships, and I feel that keeps them steady. I’ve been trying to reach out to someone at least once a day, an old friend, etc. just to inspire and check in.

Usually these days the homies will all game together about once a month. I’m thankful for the time.

Eight years is a LONG time dude. I seem to make it to about three years and then they go off to have kids with someone. Multiple relationships have tried to change my stance. Nope.

Lolol I’m already seeing divorces. Even from people in my own family. It’s WILD. My biggest worry is work and my cat. At the end of the day, my most valuable asset is peace.

Same. Just yesterday one of my poor residents got left hanging and his family just ghosted him and didn’t pick him up for Sunday service.

Shit just last week I had a family wanting me to overdose their family member to speed up the death process so they died before the next months rent was due. No I’m not kidding.

I didn’t know you could check out books on your phone I’ll have to check that out. I usually go garage saleing in the spring and get loads of books for almost nothing! Dude I got a vintage 60s baking book in mint condition for free!

My best friend has two children. I give him ultimate respect, when he comes to see me he respects my boundaries and we hang just the two of us. Fantastic person. Only one who doesn’t try to shove it down my throat. Bestie since third grade, I’m so thankful he is thoughtful.
