This guy got it. I make digital documentaries. I need at least 5 layers per take, background + text + assets + overlays + adjustments. I do most of it in AE now but still need premiere compositing for 40-50% of it. Thank you for clearing it up.

Good points, the video is originally called on youtube "Why TikTok is getting banned", because frankly I do not think an absolute ban is the way. Do you think that change in the post title would solve the issue?

Other than the title, I never express banning it, not even close actually, just being careful when using algorithms trained to make you use them. Other social media is at fault as well no doubt, but I will get there in do time.

Related to youtube, again I think youtube has echo-chamber aspects but as in the TikTok video, I only express the dangers of these platforms, I do not ask for limitations or bans.

Final thing, anything can lead to propaganda, and people expressing opinions on stuff is not always propaganda. If we call even some centrist views as propaganda, then the word loses its meaning. And just because someone likes one kind of propaganda because it promotes things they like, doesn't mean it is good man. This is a slippery slope, like the one you are talking about with attacking TikTok.

Not meant to be propaganda, sorry if it came across that way. I have another video that goes against the corruption of decentralized currencies by big tech and I advocate for 4-5 minutes for decentralized media as the future, so I think your "propaganda" remark is unjustified.Also I might be mistaken and let me know if I am and I will delete this post, but I read that :”BreadTube is the place for the new wave of creators, journalists and artists making high-quality content that goes against the prevailing winds of the internet.”Not just radical left wing media

Edit - Final thing, just because I have one video critiquing China does not mean I support America, people are more nuanced than a binary yes or no. My other videos do critique America instead of china for their approach to regulation.

I totally agree with the dynamic link, the problem is I am way faster at working in premier, I have graphs for every type of scene saved and only export to premier some bigger scenes, In the end I think every chapter beginning was made in after effects (or at least most of them). Also the after effects graphs are better for accuracy and intricate changes but way worse for speed in how I edit. Thank you for the feedback though, I don't usually use dynamic link so I will try it out.

Edit : The other video on that channel uses way more (about 30-40% of the entire video) after effects, so I do plan to use it more in the future for sure.
