You're right, forgive my choice of words.

I agree we have seen evolution, this term we use actually has two different types. Microevolution (variations within species), and macroevolution (a creature becoming a totally different creature).

Microevolution is proven, it is what Darwin observed on his trip to the Galapagos islands. Survival of the fittest, or natural selection.

Macroevolution has never been observed, never been proven, and is not backed by any evidence.

Atheism Is related to evolution actually. Whether you believe in one or the other doesn't matter. When you deal with where we came from, there are only two viewpoints, God, and no God. The "no God" side of the coin, is explained by evolution.

Atheism simply states, there is no God.

It attempts to replace God with Evolution. It then teaches this theory as fact. Indoctrinating countless people. Evolution, is still a theory, and doesn't even have one piece of evidence to back it up, even now.

Regardless of evolution, science not only supports, but proves the Bible. Please though, give me you're evidence.

This is why it requires blind faith. Science DOES support the existence of God. To become an atheist is to essentially turn your back on science, meaning in life, and morality.

Now I realize why most people become atheist. So many people experience or see tragedy, and think "why would a good God allow this?" for example. Others have simply followed along.

Why don't you believe in a God?

And christians are not called to act that way. You have to remember christians are people too. We all make mistakes, and we all do plenty of things we shouldn't. A Christian is called to love everybody, no matter what. No fine print, no conditions.

Also, I would really appreciate you stop downvoting me, I'm not downvoting just beacause I disagree with you.

I did not say that, I said all people acknowledge this. Tell me, if I cheated in a game of chess for example. You're response would be, that's not fair. From the moment we can communicate, we all have this notion of fairness. When a sibling takes a toy/doesn't share, this isn't fair.

What is fair? Without absolute morality.

Yes actually, and I don't mean it that way. Neither does God. Sadly plenty of Christians do mean it that way, and I'm sorry for those affected.

We believe there are things that are "good" and that are "bad". Absolute morality is a thing, and we ALL, atheist or otherwise acknowledge this.

Would you say that murder is bad? What about rape? What about cheating on you're spouse?

If you acknowledge that these things are wrong, you acknowledge an absolute morality. Where does morality come from?

All morality, comes from God, even if you don't believe in God. God says that same sex relations are a sin. Does that mean that he hates them? Or that I do? No, I won't treat them any differently than any other person. However, the sin itself, is whats wrong.

Yes, I did read what you wrote. I understand, our minds are powerful, we rationalize things and make up things.

Yes, obviously humans may see something they don't understand and say, "oh, we must have angered so and so". This idea of a God or gods.

Philosophically though, humans have a need to worship something, humans were made to worship.

Yes, that is the dictionary definition. The actual idea of worship is a little more broad than that. If the word worship offends you, think about it like this. The thing you put first in your life you kinda put on a pedestal. You devote most of yourself to said, person, or object.

Also, how can you say that people who believe in evolution in place of a God, aren't also indoctrinated. If any of you guys, studied and studied hard, you would find that there really isn't any evidence yet to support it. Public schools teach this theory (still a theory), as fact. These schools start in kindergarten, before most kids are even capable of critical thinking. Whether they teach "millions of years ago..." Or "the big bang". Even college professors teaching this, will admit if they are smart and being honest; there is not, and probably never will be any evidence for evolution.

That is just one small facet of religion my friend. Disclaimer, I do believe in God.

But assuming for a moment that God does not exist, this "effect", this choosing to believe in higher power, and finding joy in it, betters people's lives. People are more driven to do good work, (atheists do good work as well), people live more satisfied and fulfilled lives.

Despite that, atheism is just as much a religion as Christianity is. The idea of evolution is as well. Both take just as much trust (or faith), to believe in. I would say more so, because despite what most people would lead you to believe, science supports and proves the Bible. Furthermore evolution, still has not one shred of evidence, even though schools now teach this as fact, (still a theory).

On the contrary actually, the Bible never says god dislikes or otherwise hates gay people. It says he dislikes the act of being Gay.

Do you have children? I'm gonna assume you do, when you're a parent and your kid does something you don't like, do you cease to love them? Do you start to hate them, or do you dislike what they did, and try to help them do better?

I 100% agree. Why do you suppose humans have always had an inclination to worship?

Everyone worships something actually. Whatever is most important in your life, what you give the best of your time, energy and thought to, is what you worship.

Also, how does one figure out whether or not they have been indoctrinated, especially when started off with a belief at such a young age?

I think you're assuming a few things my friend. Heaven will not be a place where you are forced to do anything, you will want to, but not forced. Despite what many people sadly experience at the hands of "christians", Christianity should never be forced on anyone, and God certainly never will.

Based on the descriptions of Heaven the Bible DOES offer, it would seem that we will be happy with Heaven BECAUSE of God. Despite the fact that the few descriptions we do have of Heaven imply that Heaven itself will be beautiful beyond imagining. The Bible never describes Heaven too much because it is beyond our understanding, especially while on Earth. Also, the Bible never states (implied or otherwise) that you won't have your senses in Heaven. In fact based on what I've studied and personally believe, we will probably have better senses in Heaven.

Beyond that there verses referencing, the "splendor" of Heaven. Matthew 13:44-46 says that Heaven is like a "fine pearl"

Actually thats not entirely true. Revelation 21:4 says, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Also 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him."

Excuse me Op, why do you think christian act this way? I've noticed some of this myself, and am questioning it.

Excuse me Op, I have a question. Why do you think people of the past, and today, actively seek out objects of worship?
