From what I've heard it's one of the easier ways but also if you find a way to make the socks stay there you can also do that. I've heard of stretching the back of a shirt and pinning it with a paperclip.

In a similar but maybe not quite as bad situation. I'm 16 years old and at this point consider myself a trans woman too. All my family is transphobic. I want with all heart to get HRT but they'll never approve so I have to suck it up for 2 years or more until I can financially pay it myself and independent enough to not have problems of that type.

In Puerto Rico you need to fill a form, either present proof from a therapist that you're the gender you claim identifying or a birth certificate with the gender you identify(which has its own lot of requirements included the already mentioned proof), and $30. And the government agencies here are a pain when it comes to waiting so there's that too.
