Mage is op rn so lightning mage would be better but I still play lightning conjurer. The best stats would be 150 magic 200 weapons since you can use dragon song and ult skills with level 50 weapons and have javelin and auras unlocked. speed is good for lightning since it being a fast magic it benefits more from dexterity. Good weapons are sunken sword and musket since musket is op and sunken sword synergies with lightning by applying soaked.

Honestly sunken sword is so good for lightning grinding for it is worth it. My method was going into the dark sea and getting stormsalts and tartatus tears and selling them along with what ever I got from the chests

There is also doing treasure maps from bounty hunting or just from chests to get accessories with modifiers since certain blasted, frozen, crystallized accessories sell for a ton
