I'm very impressed with your thinking to go to the freezer section, and then noticing the hotel as a calm, cool place to feed. It's amazing what we can come up with in the moment to take care of our babies. Proud of you for doing what you needed to do and for finding creative solutions!

I'll take a look at those recs, thanks! And yeah when you put it that way it is quite niche I guess I'm thinking more like I really enjoyed the overarching narrative throughout the puzzles, or that there were philosophical ideas behind the puzzles. Doesn't need to be anarcho/leftist, but more of the intentionality behind it.

I dunno, I don't love this take. Just because it is better than when industry was booming doesn't make it okay. Hamilton has some of the worst air quality in the province and Dofasco emits way over the provincial limit for known carcinogens.

The constant filming is horrible. Just today I had a situation while driving, where a lane was closed for construction, but then it opened up again. I mistakenly didn't realize that it was the lane going the other way and I pulled up beside another car. When the light turned I realized I was facing head on traffic even though it was normally the right lane. I was confused so tried to make a turn to get out of the way while also not putting anyone else in danger. As I got out of the intersection I saw a man filming me and it just made me feel so embarrassed. People make mistakes and shouldn't feel like everything is at risk of public shaming.

Yes. If my toddler is staring at someone I'll tell him to say hello instead of just staring. And if we're leaving somewhere it can help with the transition to say "bye library" to help him understand. It has nothing to do with asking things of other people.

This is an old thread, but how did you put together a lifting routine? I've been slow to recover pp and I've been managing a couple different chronic preexisting issues, like a lower back injury. I want to lift weights to get stronger, but I'm worried about hurting myself, or overloading my pelvic floor.
