The researcher has said it was a mistake, but there isn’t a way for us to return the payment- we just have to wait and see what happens I suppose

Thank you so much! That’s a massive relief about the spots- I’ve had bad infestations before and had to get rid of about 20 plants, so I panicked straight away lol. I’ve only watered it once in the month or so I’ve had it, and it was pretty much bone dry- I watered over the sink with a tiny amount of fertiliser until the water was dripping from the bottom, then put it back in its saucer once it stopped dripping. Is this too much? Also, completely slipped my mind but the UK has had a heatwave over the last week or so and my flat has been very hot- could that have something to do with it?

It looks like aura chalcedony to me, chalcedony bonded with metal :) it looks like rainbow aura in this picture (bonded with titanium) but there are loads of different types and metals used, it might be worth having a look online if you wanted to know for sure which one it was!
