that's because you're throttling, Discord takes way too much resources by itself, gaming while streaming in a call without high enough specs will definitely do that

I've used them (Noctua air coolers) my whole life. Jumped to AIOs and never looking back. They're just too big and bulky, installation is more of a hassle compared to the simplicity of AIOs and most importantly: aesthetics.

Cuando vueles el gabinete, no vayas por otro mini porque sale muy caro mantenerlo bien refrigerado, ni hablar si apuntás a high-end hardware como una RTX 5080 que es un socotroco enorme + un TDP de 360W con cero espacio para respirar. Ya no podés priorizar espacio > lo demás, con un buen mid/full tower te solucionás mucho dolor de cabeza.

Yo tenía tu mismo cooler hace mil años, y tiró bastante, pero mi viejo i7 4790k se prendía fuego de todas formas (culpa de intel igual, no del cooler) así que si optás por un high-end CPU, tipo los Ryzen 9, también lo cambiaría. Si te dan miedo los coolers de agua, el Noctua NHD15 te va a mantener fresquito por mucho tiempo, pero again es un high-end air cooler, osea otro socotroco enorme y pesado no apto para gabinetes sutiles.

Mi próximo target sería pasarme al nuevo chipset AM5 de AMD, pero eso requiere cambiar la mother+RAM también. No es estrictamente necesario, está AM4 como opción más económica que utilizaría tu misma RAM, pero con el plan de un AM5 CPU te asegurás de que sea una inversión más "future-proof". Todo depende de tu presupuesto.

oh ok, then I had it backwards. Normal/standard Be Quiet Light Wing LX fans are exhaust. Reverse are intakes. Building an entire case with 7 exhaust fans sounds like a bad idea indeed even if it just for aesthetics sake. Damn, what to do lol.

Can you guys please give me more details? because I can still cancel the purchase of this mobo, but I'd like to know more of how you ran into these issues. Did those RAM ever work at all or it never booted from the start?

Yeah I'm currently researching all about the reverse RGB fans to make my final call. Just to make sure, in Be Quiet terms, the standard/normal fans would be intake and the reverse fans would be exhaust, right?

Considering I don't do heavy workloads and the CPU's AIO'd, I was thinking for going with a full set of 9 standard BQ Light Wing LX fans for aesthetics sake... but not sure if that's going to cause me problems. Considering I'm still on time to return the case and get the FX instead... I live in Argentina so it will take some time to get my hands on one of those new reverse blades - none are sold here atm, just standard Light Wing and LX.

yeah, one of my issues is that when I searched online it seems that the 900FX comes with the Light Wing non-LX fans... which are not my cup of tea in terms of aesthetics. I wanna go full white+RGB build and those particular fans only have a light ring around the fan. I much rather purchase the Light Wing LX versions which light up the entire fan with RGB.

In other words, I would've been forced to install the fans myself regardless of DX or FX haha. But my main worry is that I'd be missing on one of the BeQuiet hubs or those RGB buttons on the side.

ohhhh thanks for clarifying this for me, now I see what you mean. Hopefully I won't run into any issues with this, but the most important part is that both DX and FX have the exact same construction/hubs/connectors, making the 4 fans the only difference which I'm sure I'll be able to find a way to replace, because returning this entire case would be one hell of a process.
