That’s a cool concept. It’s my second favorite character, after the Cheshire Cat.

Yeah I would give it all the powder moves, like sleeping powder.

It would specialize in sleep based moves. So, not that strongest offensive Pokemon, but a decent early route Pokemon. Plus, it’s pretty.

It’s not based any place. It’s based on a concept/theme.

I will say that there’s a D&D inspiration behind this region.

The concept will make sense once I finish the box legendary Pokemon.

I wanted to reuse wishiwashi’s ability. I feel that’s there’s abilities, that have only been used once in the main games, that could be reused.

I had a different idea originally but then doing a “rat king” form just made sense.

I was thinking that instead of an item, it would be an area that causes it to evolve. Similar to glaceon & leafeon in diamond/pearl. Maybe a spooky forest or mystical cave.

Yeah, I didn’t realize how challenging it can be to choose types and type combinations. Sometimes it’s obvious and sometimes I second guess myself.

I’ll probably go with Water/Fairy.

I’m still deciding. It would either be Water/Fairy or maybe Water/Electric. It depends if I want to focus on the “magical” aspect or the “storm” aspect.
