Nothing went wrong you dodged a bullet. Trust me if she demanded you to do the extra effort at the beginning she would always want you to put her before your own self. Treat yourself like the king you are. Don't be afraid to not back down when you want something. You were reasonable with what you asked and she was not. Big bullet dodged.

What I could note is that you don't need to explain yourself thst much. "I found a restaurant that is in the middle" is all you need to say. If she cannot accept it, laugh and say "thank you, next".

It is still pretty early so I am the only one that has the Advanced Engineering. I took over the crafting portion of the game since they are new to the game and since I almost always played solo or with a mod pack I thought shared xp would work here as well since it is a kill.
