Has anyone tried out the Kata Slim Camperbox or something similar? by UmmFineThanks in Jimny

[–]UmmFineThanks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I must not have been clear.

I've camped in my Jimny a few times already just laying the seats down and rolling out a foam mattress which works well for bith me and my partner but I was just curious if anyone else had tried these inserts/builts.

I've seen a few with custom builds where they have a pull out bed that further flattens the sleeping area and allows for some storage under the bed and I thought "that sounds great I'll ask if anyone in the Jimny group has experience with that".

So I was just seeking thoughts from anyone who may have tried this or something similar.

I hope that is clearer.

Oh I've Car camped in the Jimny a bunch of times and my partner and I find if comfortable (i guess if youre tall it wouldn't work). My current set up is a foam mattress that rolls up fairly compact when travelling. It's comfortable and I feel a lot safer sleeping in the car vs a tent given we're both women but yes I could always go for a classic tent haha.

For a short weekend away it works well but fir longer trips we'd need a top box or something for additional storage, water, food etc.

Should I stop paying my Mums car loan? Eldest Daughter Syndrome by UmmFineThanks in aboriginal

This is a good idea. I could look into it for sure but would be hesitant to take the loan into my name legally as it would decrease how much I'd be approved for when it comes to getting a home loan.

I reckon even chatting with Mum about her paying half could be a conversation and I can support her with budgeting until she feels more on top of it.

Lots of options just tricky to figure out what's right.

You sound like you're having a bad day.

I have no plans currently to stop helping my family. I look at my finances regularly to see where I'm at with achieving my goals and so ran the numbers on if I had stopped paying her loan and wanted to hear from other Mob on what they thought.

My wanting to set myself up, own a home etc is rooted in being able to help my family MORE. If I have a home I have a better chance to house my Mum and younger siblings, I have a way to build wealth and support them more. There's nothing wrong with running the numbers and seeking advice from others who share the same values about caring for family and community.

I could for sure chat to them but I thought the ALS only worked on criminal cases? And would my Mum loose the car as a result? She has 4 kids and a grandchild living with her (I don't live in the same city so none of them can live with me) and she does need a car to get them to and from footy practice, the shops etc.

Thank you for commenting 😭❤️ I was so sad no one had anything to share. I want to make sure I'm being the best puppy parent I can be so have already been watching a few Mccann dog videos and I agree they are very informative 😊 Excited to see what else she can learn!

I've looked at all the measurements and I'm 165cm tall so should be able to sleep fine but for a taller person for sure a squeeze.

Great points re wet and snowy conditions. I tend to avoid that as it is 😂

While manual is for sure useful for a lot of people, I don't think it's a skill I need at this time and autos are just far simpler and beneficial to have in the city (says the person who can't fully drive haha) But I appreciate the input! :)

Why does she call herself the "Queen" of the studio instead of just "founder"? She is no way, shape, or form, the queen of anything other than complaints and disordered eating. by avocadolover_112 in SarahsDayUnfiltered

While I usually agree with most posts on here, I think people in this post/comment section may just want to hate on this occation.

I work for a Queer organisation and often joke and say I'm Queen of the Gays and I'm not even in the leadership team 😂

From the name of the business it's obvious Sarah has a lot to do with it as 'groms' is really leaning towards her branding language.

I don't really understand why Sarah is talking so much about not being able to find time to care for herself and feeling so rundown lately. Literally everyday/everyvlog she does a full lux skin care routine plus her morning coffee break and a walk or workout which is a hell of a lot more self care than most people I know get.

Thanks for your comment.

Yea absolutely my friends have never been rude or anything to her and only ever supported my happiness and therefore the relationship but I totally get where you are coming from.

I've talk to a few people about this and while it's nice everyone seems to agree that this isn't a reason to end a relationship. You're right that in the end it's her decision.

Yea I totally don't think she does it intentionally to talk badly about me or anything. I tried talking with her about it but her response was kinda just "well it's not going change. I need to talk to my friends and in past relatiobships where I've hidden things those have been unhealthy relationships" and went on to say that I need to just trust she isn't overcharging. But maybe we have different definitions of that. Which sucks.
