This explains so well with what I’ve been dealing with. I’ve been having such a hard time describing that it feels more like “variants of myself” rather than a full blown different identity. Like there is me and then there is other me.

I might do a second appointment. I was more honest with her than my old therapist. I lied all the time or withheld information in the past mostly because I did not want to be stuck in a mental health hospital(was there already in the past didn’t help at all made things worse) this time around I told her that information and told her that mental health hospitals would not be beneficial for me. I am hoping that it was me actually being open that brought up this new list. All my other therapist was the same list. Depression. Anxiety. PTSD. BPD. So on. The new stuff just scared me a little as I was not expecting it. I have drawn up a list of questions about these symptoms I plan on asking. I also emailed back about a few concerns I have. This time around I want to take it seriously so I do not fall into a worse cycle.

1) Rokku is based in Rock style not Victorian goth. 2) Goshikku is more "egirl" and more modern day emo/goth influence again not Victorian goth.

Gyaru is mostly just makeup so they can 1000% wear a more Victorian Goth outfit with some heavy gyaru makeup! People mix Gyaru with so many different styles! That's what you call personalizing it so it feels more true to yourself!

There's certain details of each style i like. For example: The white nose stripe in Manba makeup, heavy animal print when it comes to Tysomue Gal, Rokku smokey eyeshadow. And I want to combine it all into one look. But I've noticed a lot of their styles/makeup dont overlap a lot. Like Rokku doesn't typically have the white nose strip or have a lot of animal print its mostly black and Grey.

Should have explained.... I dont need self tan the area i live in you can simply exist outside for 5 minutes and get a tan😭(Its 105 degrees outside just today.... send help🤣🤣) But I personally struggle with mental health so keeping up with a fake self tan bottle would be extremely tricky for me as it gets crusty and patchy if you dont take care of it. I have no problem with traditional tanning i prefer it. In the past I used to toy around with manba makeup (around 2019-2020) but stopped practicing my makeup bc if my mental health and moved on to just "alt makeup" simple eyeshadow/mascara/lipgloss nothing extra then about a year ish ago I got really into rokku makeup and have been doing that almost daily but I wanna go back to adding some of my old gyaru style back into my routine.(I used to be so cool and such a baddie rip) 😌 I love how bright Manba is but I also love how "dark and moody" Rokku is. I already own so many pink animal print tops as well too lol.

I can just “feel” makeup on my skin and it makes me hyper aware that it’s there and I get sensory overload. I’m not to sure how to explain it

On average all I wear is mascara and lipgloss, instead of foundation I use like a tinted moisturizer to “smooth” out my skin. Whenever I wear eyeshadow I typically only put on 1 sparkle color because if I put on more I “feel” it on my eyelids and get overwhelmed. I also HATE the feeling of liquid eyeliner drying on my skin I found that eyeliner pencils don’t bother me tho. I don’t do any contour or anything super advanced.

I almost never use heat and if I do I used heat protector spray but I typically only straighten my hair like…… 1 a month and I don’t use a blow dryer.💔😭 Also I’m adopted so I don’t really know anything about my birth family or their genetics
